Former T-ara member Hwayoung has updated fans with a new selca.

On April 16th, she posted the above photo on her Twitter and wrote, “Nothing special is happening, but I’m happy now. I’m studying right now!”

In the picture, Hwayoung seems to be back with her long straight hair. Her face looks much more happier and comfortable than the last time she had appeared, and fans were relieved to see that she was looking well.

Former T-ara member Hwayoung is currently in discussion on joining a new agency to pursue her acting career.

According to entertainment industry insiders, Hwayoung has met with MS Entertainment and is said to be in positive discussions to join the agency.

If Hwayoung signs a contract with MS Team, she will most likely debut as an actress rather than continuing her path of a musician because the firm has so far only signed on actresses such as Son Ye Jin, Lee Min Jung and Moon Chae Won.

Her twin sister Hyoyoung is making a name for herself as an actress currently on KBS’ ‘School 2013’ and it seems she might have also influenced Hwayoung’s decision.

Girl group member Hyoyoung revealed how her twin sister, former T-ara member Hwayoung is, and about her acting desires.

On the 28th at the Lotte Hotel Ballroom, KBS 2TV new drama "School" held it's press conference. Hyoyoung was asked, "Please tell us your thoughts about acting and about how Hwayoung currently is."

Hyoyoung replied, "I had the desire to act before I debuted as a singer. I always want to improve myself. I've worked hard and my company has taught me a lot."

On her twin sister and former T-ara member Hwayoung, Hyoyoung said briefly, "Hwayoung is living and eating well."

"School 2013" is a realistic drama that has a story unfold about year two high school students. It'll begin airing on December 3rd.

Last month on the 14th, "Dispatch" caught Hwayoung going to a music practice studio. She was also with her twin sister, Hyoyoung, member of 5dolls. The girls had umbrellas because it was a rainy day, but Hwayoung and Hyoyoung were at a music academy located in Nonhyeon-dong.

Both of them looked relaxed wearing shorts and short sleeves. Attention was on Hwayoung's ankle, which was missing it's bandage. She looked fully recovered from her leg injury. After a 2-hour practice, the girls went home.

On the phone with a reporter, Hwayoung said she is continuously and steadily studying music but lacks a lot still. She said she's putting in a lot of effort and will begin to practice harder.

Former T-ara member Hwayoung shared a short rap clip on her Twitter.

On September 6th, Hwayoung tweeted, “Though I’m still lacking, I’m practicing writing the lyrics! I’m working hard to meet the expectations of the fans so please wait a little for me to return with a more grown up and new look ^ _ ^! Today’s T-ara comeback, please show them support too.”

Since the announcement of Hwayoung’s expulsion from the group, T-ara has been facing serious public backlash. After keeping her silence for nearly a month, the former member shared her concerns and remained supportive of the group.

On August 28, Hwayoung tweeted, “Seeing articles regarding Eunjung-unnie being taken out of her drama makes my heart uneasy. Although there were some confrontations in the past while I was promoting as a T-ara member, with all of this happening, my heart is in pain. And I feel bad for the amount of hurt all of this may have caused.”

“However, when we lived together there were also very happy times; let bygones be bygones and let’s strive to put smiles on our faces once again. Everyone has showed so much love to T-ara [before], so because of this accident and for causing a lot of distress and worry to everyone, I apologize.”

Some idol girl group members started to model already way before they debuted with their respective girl groups, but which members were online shopping mall model's before their debut?

Recently, a collection of now girl group members who were online shopping mall models were shared online giving their fans a blast from the past from their idols. Among them are Miss A's Suzy, Kara's Goo Hara, T-ara's former member Hwayoung, T-ara members Hyomin and Qri, and 5doll's Hyewon and Nayeon. The girls looks youthful and cute in their past modeling experience. Netizens comented, "They are so pretty! After being removed from T-ara and Core Contents Media, Hwayoung will study music on her own. Hwayoung actually received various love calls from different agencies, but she'll take the time to calm her mind down first.

Last night, a friend of Hyoyoung and Hwaoyung met with Star News and said, "Hwayoung is tired from all the recent controversy and wants to calm down and straighten her mind. She's preparing to take on new opportunities."

Rumors surfaced that Hwayoung would find a new contract with a new agency. The friend said, "Hwayoung needs time to find a new agency and has no idea yet. She wants to relax before concentrating [on that]."

Following, "Online speculation has upset her a lot. After leaving, she has the opportunity and wants to began studying music more with lessons."

Netizens began speculating that Hwayoung would join Supernova's agency Maru Planning after she visited it. In regards to this, the friend said Maru Planning's CEO has watched out for Hwayoung since she was a trainee. "The only had a deep conversation but speculation was created from that," they said.

TiJinYo may have started as an internet cafe, but the members are taking their act offline.

The anti T-ara internet cafe "We Request The Truth From T-ara" (called TiJinYo for short) announced plans to hold a protest outside of T-ara’s agency, Core Contents Media, on August 4th at 5 PM. The group has submitted an official notice to the police of their plans to assemble and rally, making this a legal, legitimate protest.

TiJinYo clarified that this protest will not be one simply against member Hwayoung leaving the group. It will target the bigger issue of bullying that is arising among young idol stars, that the youth of public look up to.

On a side note, Core Contents Media continues to deny these accusations of group bullying. The agency is sticking to their explanation of Hwayoung being out of the group due to her
uncooperative behavior.

The expected turnout for that day is roughly 100 protestors.

As of 11 AM on August 2nd, TiJinYo had about 336,800 members.

After Hwayoung's contract being terminated with Core Contents Media, her next move and if she'll join a new agency is being closely watched.

Hwayoung and her sister 5dolls Hyoyoung were revealed to have met with agency officials in Nonhyeon, Seoul.

Hwayoung was removed from her group after "bullying" became a hot topic, but her agency said they will watch for her if she joins a new agency.

Lee Jaehyok is the former Director of Media for Core Contents Media and now owns Maru Planning. He's closely connected with Core Contents Media's CEO Kim Kwangsoo and it's known that this is who Hwayoung and Hyoyoung met with.

However, Maru Planning said today, "There is a very small chance of her signing a contract," dismissing rumors.

T-ara's agency said earlier, "For now, T-ara will remain as a 7-member group."

T-ara's ex-member Hwayoung met their CEO Kim Kwang-soo on the night of the 31st crying tears full of regret.

"[Hwayoung, with her twin sister] Hyoyoung met with me for 30 minutes and was saying things such as '[She's really] upset and [she's] sorry". That was the first time that I met her since her contract termination was announced. She's been very distressed at how everything have gone insanely out of control. Seeing her like that was also very painful for me," said CEO Kim in an interview he held on August 1st. CEO Kim also continued to say, "For the time being, T-ara will continue their promotional activities without Hwayoung. The T-ara members, just like Hwayoung are all victims in this situation. Having everything happen like this has brought pain to the children's (T-ara and Hwayoung's) hearts. Finally, Hwayoung and Hyoyoung also said that '[They will] be waiting'".

CEO Kim Kwangsoo had a hard time calming down the situation, but now the reconcilation phase is here and attracting attention. Hwayoung met with Kim Kwangsoo at 10:30 PM KST after posting a heartfelt apology on her Twitter.

-Why did the sisters, Hwayoung and Hyoyoung come to meet you?
Hwayoung came to the office late at night to give a last greeting. An hour before, Hwayoung made a post on Twitter. She came with her sister and cried throughout the 30 minutes. 'I'm sorry for giving so many complications,' she said. She sincerely regretted her behavior and everything that happened and couldn't hold back her feelings.

-How is Hwayoung doing?
For someone as young as her to experience an incident this big, of course she's having a difficult time. Yesterday, [when we met] instead of blaming her for bad behaviour, I gave her words of encouragement. T-ara isn't living with each other like they used to but staying with their parents now.

-Hwayoung and the company is currently having conflicts, [how about] Hyoyoung, she's still [with the company]?
I don't want to talk about her at the moment. The only thing that both sisters said to me was "President-nim, we will be waiting. With her sister being in this state, she's not at a position to be able to work on her own activities, anyway.

-How are the T-ara members?
If I say that their current state [is similar] to having a mental breakdown, it'd be pretty accurate. All T-ara members as well as Hwayoung's are all in a panic state. T-ara are very sad over the talk that they made Hwayoung an outcast. They also feel sorry for not protecting their youngest sister well. This teaches them that something small can create a very big wave such as this one. They're continually crying.

-[Hwayoung] being outcast is still being debated over. What is the real reason to Hwayoung's departure?
It's a pity it's still a controversy. Whatever group, social relationships always experience conflict. Bullying between members is not the reason for her withdrawal. It's because of Hwayoung's refusal to perform on KBS 2TV 'Music Bank' on the 27th. Hwayoung had made a promise to fans to perform on stage no matter the situation. There were also many staff members working for her who were hurt by this. As a singer, she broke the promise she made. Such mistakes like that are a big deal.

-Is there a possibility that Hwayoung will be re-joining?
The only thing Hwayoung said was "I will wait." If she comes back so suddenly, it might become a little difficult. There's been a deep wound that's inflicted on both T-ara and Hwayoung. Saying this is difficult because I am feeling just as hurt [seeing all of this unfold].

-T-ara's promotions?
First of all, T-ara will continue their promotions without Hwayoung. The plan for now is to have them remain as a 7-member group. Dani will only be added to T-ara after December as planned initially. It is also mandatory that T-ara proceeds with their concert on August 11th, but they will take a break from variety programs. The report regarding the massive amounts of ticket refunding at the concert is also not true.

Hwayoung and T-ara cry. Meeting each other every day, but today was different.

According to Core Contents Media, last night on July 31st, Hwayoung and her twin sister Hyoyoung came to Core Contents Media's office is Gangnam, Seoul to meet with Kim Kwangsoo.

Through a phone interview with Star News in the morning, Kim Kwangsoo admitted to meeting with Hwayoung and Hyoyoung.

He said, "I was surprised that Hwayoung came to the company last night, but we have already talked. After apologizing to the other members, staff, and fans and apologizing for breaking her promise and reflecting on her actions, Hwayoung burst in tears."

Followed by, "It broke my heart seeing Hwayoung cry. Seeing Hwayoung cry, I realized her heart has not had a break [from aching]."

CEO Kwangsoo said he first met with the T-ara members before Hwayoung came to the office. "The T-ara members also are saddened and shed tears over this incident," he said.

"The writings T-ara and Hwayoung wrote on Twitter without any meaning behind them have all caused a ripple effect. I talked frankly to all of them yesterday, and each of them shed tears," he also said.

"I hope the fans can give their love and keep watching T-ara and Hwayoung rather than posts on the Internet."

Kim Kwangsoo terminated Hwayoung's contract, but then quickly said there was a possibility to re-join.

Ex-T-ara member Hwayoung has approached and apologized to CEO Kim Kwangsoo in tears.

On July 31st, she went to go see their CEO Kim Kwangsoo to apologize (in tears) after she wrote an apology on her personal Twitter account.

Hwayoung's tweet read: "I am sorry for giving so much disappointment to all the fans that have given me love up until now. I will now stop (all of this), please anticipate a more mature and improved side of me. Because I have made everyone worried, I am very sorry. I also want to apologize to the people at Core Contents Media. I will greet everyone with a better (Hwayoung in the future)."

Core Contents Media CEO Kim Kwangsoo said that Hwayoung apologized and said, "I don't know why it's gotten this far. I'm sorry. To the president, members of our company family.. I'm sorry to everyone."

Kwangsoo said that Hwayoung went on to say, "When I decided not to proceed to appear on 'Music Bank' that day, I made a big mistake. I failed to keep a promise I made with the people viewing and the fans." Kwangsoo stated again, the reason Hwayoung was removed from T-ara is because of her decision to not appear on Music Bank.

CEO Kim Kwangsoo continued to say he didn't originally plan to remove Hwayoung from the group, but it ultimately got to that point. He said, "In the future, I believe Hwayoung can be a successful artist and rapper in a different company. I hope she'll grow and be able to perform on grand stages in the future."
