Idol group U-KISS members SooHyun and Kevin will appear in a musical in Japan called 'Summer Snow' from the 31st of May until to the 15th of June which will be held at Tokyo's Akasaka ATC Theater. SooHyun will portray the role of 'Jinha' while Kevin as 'SooHyun'.

Perhaps, that became the realizations of U-KISS’ leader, Soohyun, that made him decide to pursue a college degree.

He is admitted successfully at Paichai University. They announced it on their blog and twitter saying, ““Soohyun..... has enrolled at our Paichai University last March 12th..... He talked with the President and the professors..... We’re looking forward to him being a Paichai University student!“

U-Kiss member Soohyun has been cast as the lead for ‘High School Girls’ musical.

‘High School Girls’ musical describes the first love of young boys and girls. Soohyun will be playing the role of Jung Hyuk Joo, who seeks for his first love after his studies at overseas.

Since U-Kiss is growing largely popular in many overseas countries, it seems like his challenge in musical will influence in the spread of new contents. Soohyun is currently practicing hard for the musical, which will raise its curtains on December 29 at Musical Center at Daehakro, Seoul.

Meanwhile, U-Kiss is planning to begin an Asia tour sometime next year.

Idol group U-Kiss is gearing up on returning to the spotlight with 7th mini album ‘Stop Girl’. After releasing KiSeop and Eli’s teaser images, the new individual teasers have been unveiled featuring member Soohyun and Kevin.

U-Kiss will be releasing their 7th mini album ‘Stop Girl’ on September 20th. The new album will show a new color of the group’s music with a whole different concept. AJ will not be included in this comeback, as he is currently studying abroad at Columbia University.

After making their much-anticipated comeback last month with 6th mini-album “DORA DORA”, the boys of U-Kiss have prepared another special treat for Kiss Mes.

U-Kiss will be releasing a special mini-album titled “The Special to Kiss Me” on June 5th. The special album will contain 4 new tracks and two instrumentals.

Ahead of it release, U-Kiss unveiled teaser images of members Hoon, AJ and Soohyun via the group’s official Twitter.

On February 1st, U-KISS leader Soohyun shared the above selca photo via Twitter, making every KISSME's heart flutters.

Soohyun wrote, "I want to sleep now. Don’t be disappointed if you didn’t receive a mention. Here’s a picture instead! Goodnight KISSME, my loves."

In the photo, Soohyun displayed his flawless milky skin while adorably pouting her lips towards the camera.

In related news, U-KISS members are gearing up for the release of their second Japanese single, "Forbidden Love" on February 29th.

U-Kiss members Dongho, Kiseop and Soohyun were very active on twitter last night, fighting over their 'girlfriend'.
It was later found out through their pictures that the 'girlfriend' they were referring to, was a big blue bear which the three of them all took pictures with.

On each of their own twitter pictures with the big blue bear, all of them stated it as their girlfriends.

In dongho's tweet with the bear, he wrote, "hehehe i’m on a date^^ jealous, huh!!! hehe"

In Soohyun's tweet with the bear, he wrote, "everyone…. i found a person who i love… i’m sorry… i’ll release the photo.. please do not despair.." and tweeted a picture of him sitting beside the bear.

In Kiseop's tweet with the bear, he wrote, "wanna eat chocolate? wanna eat candy^^?" with a picture of him feeding the bear, implying that he is asking the bear the questions.

After the pictures, Dongho started the 'fight' by tweeting to Soohyun:
[Trans] ….hyung, now….you’re sitting next to MY girlfriend and…what are….you doing?;;;ㅡㅡ


Soohyun later replied his tweet saying:
[Trans] dongho ya! give [her] up to your hyung!!

Dongho then replied Soohyun:
[Trans] wow…..ㅜㅜㅜ cry cry what am i supposed to do? ㅠㅜㅠ

At this moment, Kiseop joined in their conversation:
[Trans] what the heck is this.. what are you doing to MY girlfriend……

To this, Dongho replied:
[Trans] my girlfriend says that kiseop hyung is not that good keke

And to end this, Soohyun gave up and tweeted:

[Trans] fine i’ll give up… then i’ll just date KISS-MES!! hahahahahahahahaha


So.. in conclusion.. it's a happy ending? Haha.

U-kiss' main vocalist, Soohyun who was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules, will perform on 2011 Asia Song Festival on 15th.

This good news was revealed on October 14 in 2011 Asia Song Festival press conference that was held in Daegu.

Soohyun said, “I was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules, but i am better now, i got IV and medicines to make me well." I will try my best and perform in the live concert will all my best condition. I will try to give you the best stage.

Previously, U-Kiss halted their promotions for "Neverland" because of Soohyun's condition.

Idol group U-KISS' main vocalist, Soohyun's vocal cord nodules have interrupted their current promotional activities.

On October 12th, U-KISS' agency NH Media stated that the activities for their 2nd album's title song, 'Neverland', has ended earlier than their planned schedule. Due to their demanding activities U-KISS' main vocalist, Soohyun, has been diagnosed with vocal cord nodules.

U-KISS' leader Soohyun has exerted exceptional strength during their current activities as he is in charge of the vocals in the group.

However due to the vigorous schedule, intense choreography and demanding vocal levels of their song, it has hindered the well-being of Soohyun.

In order to prepare for their most recent comeback, U-Kiss had practiced 6 hours daily for 3 months.

NH Media stated, "We have taken Soohyun's recovery period into consideration. The worst case scenario would be his absence during their follow-up activities".

In addition, U-KISS will be participating in the '2011 Asia Song Festival' on October 15. Soohyun is expected to also join the group for this stage.

U-KISS' member, Soohyun, has been praised for his response to a bitter remark from a netizen via Twitter.

On September 18th, Soohyun received a reply through Twitter from a netizen highlighting U-Kiss' lack of popularity compared to their hoobae-nims (younger groups), Infinite and BEAST. Soohyun responded to this tweet by saying "Thank you for raising a good point. We'll work even harder..."

U-KISS' most recent release from their 2nd album, 'Neverland', showcases the group's masculine side. The song, a fusion of emotions and intense electric sounds, and dance have sparked fans' interests.

Prior to their comeback, some U-KISS members had sustained injuries resulting in more effort put into their comeback. Whilst practising for their comeback in Osaka, Dongho suffered leg injures. In addition Eli was also injured during practice and tore a ligament in his knee. From these incidents, netizens are viewing Soohyun's issue as dismal.

Netizens have responded to this issue, "Why waste time on such hurtful comments", "Who leaves posts like that? What for?" "So inconsiderate. Soohyun, be strong!" "Crazy...their song is really good this time. Fighting!" as well with other support messages for Soohyun and other U-KISS members.

On the episode of YTN's 'News and Issue - Issue and People' that was aired on the 6th, U-Kiss members Soohyun, Dongho and Kevin made an appearance on the show but their interview was interrupted due to a breaking news bulletin.

During the interview, U-Kiss talked about their activities in Japan as showed off how they have become Hallyu stars. However, a breaking news bulletin was received during the show, causing their interview to be interrupted.

It was because of the news of Professor Ahn Cheol-soo giving up his Seoul mayor candidacy. Due to the nature of the news, there was no other choice but to interrupt the interview.

Hence, U-Kiss' interview was interrupted while the news anchors delivered the breaking news. After apologising to the members, the interview went on and the members expressed that they were amazed.

On another note, U-Kiss introduced their new album and shared honest stories about their promotion activities in Japan through this episode.

U-KISS’s Soo Hyun and Dongho recently uploaded a heartwarming photo to thank their dedicated ‘KISS-ME’ fans.

Soohyun tweeted on May 14th, “With Dongho, who gave me the strength to attain 100,000 [followers]. kekeke a commemorative selca for my 100,000th!! I love you KISS-ME!”

Fans commented, “Congratulations for reaching 100,000 followers”, “He looks really happy”, “His fan service is the best, even uploading commemorative pictures”, and “I’ll be looking forward to more of U-KISS in the future.”

Meanwhile, U-KISS are currently undergoing active promotions for their latest title track, “0330“.

Seoul Digital Culture and Arts University (SCAU) has selected U-KISS’s Soohyun and Kiseop as the embassador for the university. 

Soohyun and Kiseop were accepted into the Seoul Digital Culture & Arts University’s class of 2011, and they will be enrolling in the Department of Applied Music. In the future, Soohyun and Kiseop will be participating in the campus activities as well as acting as the ambassadors during the scheduled various out-of-campus activities and performances.

U-KISS' Soohyun resemblance to Jung Hyungdon and Boom was being talked. Soohyun then had shouted "It's Boom!" which made left the studio in laughter.

On the August 15th broadcast of MBC youth variety 'Bouquet' (airing at 4:10 pm), the casts talked about U-KISS Soohyun' resemblance with Jung Hyungdon. They compared Soohyun's face with Jung Hyungdon while standing side by side and commented "Really look-alike" and burst into laughter.

Not only that, Soohyun also has a distinctive resemblance to entertainer Boom. He said Boom's famous catchphrase "It's Boom!" and had everyone laughed hard. On this broadcast, U-KISS sang '땡벌 Ddaeng Beol (by Kang Jin)' and danced to Michael Jackson's dance, showing their strong teamwork.

This episode will be aired on August 15th at 4:10 pm.

U-KISS's Soohyun backed off from musical 'A Chorus Line'.

U-KISS's Soohyun quited his first musical debut performance due to busy schedule in preparation for U-KISS new album.

Soohyun has passed the audition to be in 'A Chorus Line' back in June, but he joined on a later date than the other casts who started practicing for the musical earlier. Because of this, he worked extremely hard and practiced until late night.

During that time, Soohyun was busy preparing for U-KISS's new album as well as having lots of appearance in various variety shows despite putting an extraordinary effort to practice for his first musical stage. Moreover, it's a bit hard for Soohyun as a singer to debut in musical stage since he has to concentrate on group’s activities and practicing in parallel as well.

The first stage for the musical was successfully held on last July 29th. However, Soohyun did not appear in it as it was difficult for him to make an appearance as a fixed member in the musical since he has to concentrate in the new album's preparation as well as for the group's Asia tour schedules.

Soohyun said, "This is supposed to be my first musical since debuted. I prepared and practised hard for it although the effort wasn't fruitful. I apologize to fans who have been anticipating seeing me in the musical. I will work hard to show a better performance when given the chance again."

Meanwhile, U-KISS is currently in the middle of preparing for their new album that is scheduled to be released in September.

Lee Juno, who is a former member of group Seotaiji and Boys, tasted humiliation from U-Kiss's SooHyun.

On the July 31st episode of KBS 2TV's 'Star Golden Bell Season 2', Lee Juno guest-starred alongside U-Kiss's SooHyun as 'close friends' due to both of their appearances in the musical 'Chorus Line'.

When SooHyun requested that Lee Juno "give him a hug full of sincerity", he did so cheerfully, but when SooHyun said, "I was a kindergartener when Lee Juno was with Seotaiji and Boys", he smiled bitterly.

Lee Juno also confessed, "I tried out for musicals 8 times", explaining that "The judges were foreigners, so it was not important what I did in the past (as a member of Seotaiji and Boys)".

He continued, "The only important thing was whether I could do this or not", "I did not get picked several times. But I think that by the time this episode airs, I will already have stood on the stage".

On this day of 'Star Golden Bell', the guests included Park JiSun, Lee SukHoon, After School's JooYeon and JungAh, Heo KyungHwan, Lee ChaeYoung, Cult Two's Jung ChanWoo and Kim TaeGyun, Lee Juno, U-Kiss's SooHyun, and DJ DOC's Kim ChangRyul and Jung JaeYong.

4minute maknae transforms into Audrey Hepburn?

SooHyun's eyebrows and eye-catching make up for their recent "I My Me Mine" stage sparked a lot of interest from fans, she had a different make up than usual and she had a unique long eyelashes with dark eye make up.

Reporters spotted Soohyun with this getup on the 16th in Music Bank where she was seen by them, the reporters think that "The make up is very pretty but I wasn't able to see it clearly on stage, its too bad", "But the eyelashes are really nice and a lot of fans are complimenting it, She's getting a different impression with her dark make up".

Meanwhile, 4minute will be releasing their Second Japanese Single with "I My Me Mine" in Japan and they will be flying to Japan from South Korea soon to prepare for their debut.
