SISTAR will be coming back with a new album.

Girl group SISTAR who was rumored to have their comeback in May will be coming back this June. According to Starship Entertainment, the group is busy preparing for their awaited comeback. SISTAR is said working with Double Kick for their album and is working hard to not disappoint their fans.

SISTAR will make their comeback on June 11th and will make the summer hotter .

B1A4 will be making their anticipated comeback.

House of idol group B1A4, WM Entertainment revealed that the group is preparing for their comeback which will show an absolutely different image compared to their previous image and different from the things that idols do in current time. The group's comeback is said to be on May 6th, but the date is not yet confirmed and is planning to reveal teaser images as early as the end of April.

However, Jinyoung is cast in TvN’s ‘WOW’and the group recently held their first Japan concert and was also able to perform in Taiwan and Indonesia.

The release of the long awaited Japanese original track, バニスタ (Banisuta), has been decided!

With the new member Areum who joined last year, big news from the newly formed T-ara!

As craved by the fans, the new Japanese original single バニスタ has been set for a release on March 20th! (Further details to be announced afterwards.)

For the first time, the Limited Edition will be 3 discs and the Regular edition will be 7 discs, in total there will be 10 discs on sale.

The Limited Edition disc will feature sub units of T-ara. In addition, the Regular Edition will feature solo music of the T-ara members. That makes 11 new Japanese original tracks!

Girls’ Generation’s music video for “I Got A Boy” has broken the record for the K-Pop video to hit 10 million views on YouTube the fastest, reaching the mark in only 55 hours since release.

Previously, the record was held by Hyuna’s “Ice Cream” music video, which hit 10 million views in 87 hours, followed by Girls’ Generation’s own “The Boys” at 110 hours.

It’s been 14 months since their last comeback, and “I Got A Boy” was hotly anticipated, hitting that 10 million milestone in half the time it took for “The Boys”. “I Got A Boy” is generating plenty of buzz for its wild, colorful style, choreography by the Emmy-winning duo Nappytabs, and roller coaster ride of a song.

Girls’ Generation will continue their comeback performances with “Dancing Queen” and “I Got A Boy” on KBS’s “Music Bank” at 6:00PM KST on January 4th.

Starship Entertainment revealed this on their official Twitter account during noon on the 31st, attaching a pictorial of BOYFRIEND.

In the pictorial, Boyfriend no longer had their “flower boy image” that they always used to have, but instead had a vintage manly feel, showing off their charismatic sides.

This time Boyfriend’s outfits concept daringly used strikingly different colors like red and black, as well as having golden accessories, making them very eye-catching.

Starship Entertainment said, “Boyfriend will be different from before. Not only will they show their manly side, they will show a different kind of charisma on stage,” showing their strong confidence in this comeback.

In related news, Boyfriend is set to comeback on the 8th of next month.

Despite having a criticized debut, rookie girl group, Gangkiz, is all-set to impress the nationwide with a follow-up song to “Honey Honey”. According to Mnet’s website, Gangkiz is set to release a repackage version to their debut mini-album “We Bacame Gang” on June 22nd.


Interestingly, their yet to-be-released follow-up song was accidentally leaked online back in May and has drawn the attention and anticipation of many fans. The song will be an emotional fast-tempo pop dance track and world’s famous choreographer, Jonte Moaning, has choreographed the dance for the girls. Dalmatian is also planning on their comeback this month. Last year, they proceeded with their promotions for 'The Man Opposed" in showing off their "dandy guy" charms and now through this round of upcoming promotions, they're foreshadowing a 180 degrees transformation. All the members having skills in both composing and producing, the new album is none other than Dalmatian themselves participating in the production as it contains a whole different set of charms in comparison to the promotions for "The Man Opposed." They plan on delivering powerful music to the public and they're now settling in to the last steps of preparation for the comeback as they've already finished filming their MV on the 11th.

4minute has attracted the attention of Chinese fans with their latest comeback. 'Volume Up' has consecutively been the #1 spot on the chart of the largest MV website 'Yinyuetai' in China. The MV of 'Volume Up' from the 3rd mini album, which was revealed on the 9th, gained the top place for the subsequent 5 days, surpassing other popular male idols such as Big Bang and C.N.Blue.

SHINee, who is back with the new mini album ‘Sherlock,’ will finally present the first comeback stage. 
Starting with Mnet ‘M Countdown’ on the 22nd, SHINee will present the comeback stage on KBS ‘Music Bank(3/23),’ MBC ‘Show! Music Core(3/24)’ and SBS ‘Inkigayo(3/25)’ and is predicted to attract the attention of fans all over the world. 
Especially, SHINee will perform two songs, the title song ‘Sherlock’ and ‘낯선자,’ on their comeback stage.

The Japanese media is showing high interest in idol group Big Bang‘s recent comeback.


On March 5th, sources such as Daily Sports, Sports Hochi, Nikkan Sports, Sankei Sports, Sports Nippon, Tokyo Chunichi Sports, and more reported news of Big Bang’s ‘2012 BIG SHOW/BIG BANG ALIVE TOUR‘ that began in Seoul on March 2nd.



Daily Sports reported, “Big Bang’s phenomenal start out into the world“, while Sankei Sports said, “Big Bang influences the world“, and Tokyo Chunichi Sports reported, “Big Bang kicks off the greatest world tour in all of Asian history!”



For this tour, Big Bang is teaming with Live Nation and creative director Laurieann Gibson. After their performances in Seoul, the highly-anticipated tour will continue in Japan.



The Japanese media also reported the specific dates of the 10 performances to take place in 5 cities across Japan, further heightening fans’ excitement.




 For those of you who missed the dates, the Japan performances for Big Bang’s World Tour will take place as follows:
  • May 17 & 18 - Aichi Prefecture (Nippon Gaishi Hall)
  • May 26 & 27 – Yokohama (Yokohama Arena)
  • June 1 & 2 – Osaka (Osaka-jo Hall)
  • June 16 & 17 – Saitama (Saitama Arena)
  • June 23 & 24 – Fukuoka (Marine Messe)



With Seoul and these 5 cities revealed, it seems there will be 19 cities left to be announced out of the total 25 cities in the world tour.

BoA is confirmed to have a comeback but the question is where. Is it.in Japan, Korea, or in the US? 

Korean website, Nate, had an interview with SM Entertainment representatives stating that BoA has been preparing for promotions for not only her debut Hollywood movie, COBU 3D, but also for an album, but many fans wonder if it is a Korean album. Or could this go along with her US movie and be an English album? And what about her Japanese anniversary? Many fans are abuzz with the news and are waiting eagerly to hear clarification. The representative was quoted saying that with BoA being involved with "Kpop Star" there has been a "rediscovery of BoA" among Kpop fans.


No matter where the promotions are headed, it seems like 2012 will be a busy year for BoA. Not only with her being involved as a judge on "Kpop Star" but also promoting her own movie and album.



So what do you think about this? Can you make a smart guess if what would be the album? A Korean, Japanese or an English album?

There are also groups whose comeback date has not been confirmed but is expected to be in March. Among SM Entertainment artists, SHINee is highly likely to release an album. SHINee did not have many activities in Korea last year but is currently working on their album with a view to a comeback in March. SHINee members are doing individual activities and that what makes them still busy. Member Minho is one of the casts on SBS sitcom Salamander Guru and the Shadows while Taemin is participating on KBS Immortal Song 2, and Key preparing for the musical Catch Me If You Can.

However, the official comeback date is still not sure. Wait for further announcement about SHINee's comeback and hopefully, it is in March.

On the 29th of January, Brian tweeted the photo above with a caption "Amber (f(x)) & my boy @JeremiahJDavis came to support me for my SBS comeback~ Amber even bought my CD... Thanks lil'sis".

Girl group 4minute revealed their strong motivation for their promotion activities in 2012. 

During a press conference held on December 26th in Lotte Hotel, Sogongdong, Seoul, they told the reporters "We will come to the audience not as the 'best' but as the 'only'."

4minute has been busy promoting in Japan and attending various events after their 'Heart to Heart' and 'Mirror Mirror' promotion activities back in March and April. They have also taken part in their family concerts all around the world. However, their fans were disappointed that their promotion actitivies in 2011 did not last long.

Heo Gayoon revealed that their new album was currently in the making and she revealed another important point. "We have been trying hard to find our very own color since 'Hot Issue'. We wanted to pursue something else rather than gaining popularity."

Maknae Kwon Sohyun added "Our motto is 'ONLY rather than BEST'. We want to be the only rather than the best. We want to be recognized for our very own color."

Jenpoo a popular korean music portal website has updated their upcoming release list for the week of December 12th.
Orange Caramel is surprisingly on the list with a December 16th release date.
They recently finished their sub-group activities for the popular single “Shanghai Romance” and wrapped up promotions for “Happy Pledis 2012“. After School as a whole is in Japan where they started promoting their next Japanese singles “Because of You” and “Rambling Girls“.
With December 16th being only a few days away Pledis is sure to release news about the rumored upcoming single soon.

SBS TV's 'Inkigayo' that aired this 11th Des, Boyfriend proved how mature they are through their music on "I'll Be There" at the stage.

Boyfriend grab the day and look so mature on their charm with their manly white suit. Eventhough their face still fail them, but this music looks more manly than other before.

"I'll Be There", with sweet and romantic lyric by the composer, will be so much impressively music to accompany fans through this winter season.

Daesung, who recently made a comeback with the MBN drama, What’s Up after seven-month long hiatus, shared his thoughts on his comeback at a press conference for the drama held on December 6 in Seoul. 

When asked to share his feelings about making a comeback, he answered, “While taking a break, I thought about what I’ve done up to date and what I should do in the future. And I wanted to make an official appearance like this to make an apology to everybody.” 


Daesung went into hiatus since his involvement in a speeding accident that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist in May. The Big Bang member returned to the entertainment industry with the role of Ha Do Sung in the drama. His comeback and his first acting attempt have been drawing a lot of attention and support from his fans. 

Daesung continued, “I thought I should return and show my better side. I’ve been nervous and worried under the pressure that I had to please people.” “Due to my activities, I often missed out on classes. And thanks to this role, I got to have direct experience in school life. I enjoyed shooting since the fellow cast members are about the same age as me and our lifestyles are similar.” 
What’s Up, written by scriptwriter Song Ji Na, best-known for major hits including SBS’ The Sandglass and MBC’s Eye of Dawn, covers a story of young and passionate musical majors. It airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9am.

On November 18th, T-ara's Eunjung shared pictures of the lunch that the fans prepared for them. She wrote "The packed lunches our fans prepared to celebrate today's Music Bank comeback ㅠㅠ It was really delicious and so touching!!!!!!♥♥♥ I was eating these on the way to the filmset too..pictures pictures pictures!!"




Their fans are really sweet!
