After spending most of Wednesday being interrogated, an arrest warrant for entertainer Go Young Wook was rejected.

“We have insufficient evidence on the matter to issue an arrest warrant,” the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office said.

Go was allowed to go home while police continue to investigate the sexual assault charges brought against him by three minors.

As he was leaving the police station on Wednesday night, Go said he was sorry for “causing a disturbance,” and vowed that he would continue to cooperate with the police.

The first accusation against the ’90s dance group member was brought by a teenager and aspiring entertainer in March who claimed that the singer raped her after he suggested meeting up in order to talk about launching her career.

Since then, two other girls have also stepped forward to file similar complaints against the Korean entertainer.

Entertainer Go Young Wook spent yesterday morning at the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office being interrogated by a judge who was to decide whether there was enough evidence to issue an arrest warrant.

Go was detained and questioned on charges of sexual assault and sleeping with minors.

His agency refused to issue a statement. When Go was transported to Yongsan Police Station at around noon, he told the press that there was “nothing left to say.”

Go said he was sorry for causing a disturbance but kept quiet when the press asked if he was admitting guilt.

An application for an arrest warrant had been filed by the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office two days earlier after investigating claims that he had used his celebrity status to talk minors into sleeping with him.

The first accusation against Go was brought by a teenager and aspiring entertainer in March who claimed that the singer raped her after he suggested meeting up in order to talk about launching her career.

An arrest warrant has been filed by the Seoul Western District Prosecutor’s Office against singer Go Young Wook on charges of sleeping with minors.

On May 21, a representative from the Prosecutor’s Office said that, “Even if it wasn’t a case of rape, a person can be charged for using force and power as an adult to lure a minor into having sexual relations.”

The representative added that a judge will interrogate Go in person to see if there is indeed enough evidence to arrest him.

Earlier on May 15, Go spent over 10 hours at the Yongsan Police Station in central Seoul for charges of sleeping with a minor.

An official complaint about Go raping an aspiring teenaged entertainer emerged earlier in the month, and while Go was at the police station, a local media outlet received a tip that more than one child victim might be involved in the case.

Go Young Wook rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of dance group Roo’Ra.

Former idol star Go Young Wook spent more than 10 hours in detention at the Yongsan Police Station on Tuesday being investigated on charges of sexual assault against a minor.

An official complaint about Go Young Wook raping an aspiring entertainer surfaced about a week ago, and while he was at the police station, a local media outlet received a tip that more than one child victim might be involved in the case.

“While we were in the middle of investigating whether Go raped a minor, another victim came forward with the same complaint,” a police representative said. “Thus, we started investigating this, too.”

When journalists quizzed Go about the allegations as he made his way out of the station, the entertainer merely stammered, “It’s personal!”

Media also asked Go if he was guilty of the charges. He deflected questions by simply saying, “I’ll continue to cooperate with the police.”

Go Young Wook rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of the idol group Roo’Ra.

A request for an arrest warrant has been filed against Go Young Wook, a member of idol group Roo’Ra from the 1990s.

Yongsan Police announced yesterday that it is currently investigating Go after he allegedly lured an aspiring teenage singer with alcohol before raping her.

According to the police, Go saw the wannabe celebrity on a variety show on TV last month. Go took an immediate interest in the young girl and called up the cable channel to get her number. He then made contact, promising the young girl that he’d help her get started in the entertainment industry.

When they met up in person, Go said to the girl, “People will recognize me, let’s go somewhere we can talk,” before taking her back to his studio in Yongsan.

At Go’s residence, Go prompted the teenager to drink various alcohol before raping her. Then few days later the two met up again and Go asked the girl to become his “lover,” and pressured her to have sex with him again.

The police was notified of the incident through an organization that specializes in schoolyard violence prevention. Go made an official apology yesterday and said that his version of the story was yet to be told.
