Stardom Entertainment files lawsuit against Miss $’s label Brand New Music
Stardom Entertainment has filed a lawsuit at the Seoul Central District Court against Miss $’s label Brand New Music.
According to Stardom Entertainment on September 27, “Miss $’s Oh Yoomi had a contract with us until September of next year, but Brand New Music took her to create Miss $ and released a single album. Stealing our members and other offenses went against the standard rules of the music industry and therefore must be stopped. We’re filing for an injunction and damage compensation.”
In response, Brand New Music stated, “When Brand New Stardom was split into Brand New Music and Stardom Entertainment, both sides signed an agreement that they wouldn’t restrict Miss $’s movement after their first album. We followed through on the contract, so there is no problem.”
