tvN’s hit drama ‘Reply 1997’ which successfully ended last year will start its second story!

On April 17, tvN announced that the second season will begin in September. The synopsis for the drama has yet to be revealed but it will take place a few years earlier, in 1994.

There were also rumors about the second season being about basketball, however this was not confirmed by the channel, and they said, “Nothing is confirmed yet. The producers are currently collecting data from the 90s.”

‘Reply 1997’ starring Seo In Guk, A Pinks Jung Eunji, Shin So Yool, Infinite’s Hoya, Eun Ji Won, and Lee Shi Un became a hit in the summer of 2012. The new season will still include Reply 1997’s director, Woo Ji Won and writer Lee Woo Jung.

tvN’s popular drama series ‘Reply 1997’ has sold out over 10,000 copies of the Director’s Cutsoundtrack album.

According to record’s producing firm CJ E&M, the special ‘Reply 1997 Director’s Cut OST’ sold off 12,500 copies during the pre-order period, surpassing the average soundtrack sales figure of 5,000. The firm also added that it is unusual for OST records to sell off all copies before the release, proving the drama’s popularity.

‘Reply 1997 Director’s Cut OST’ features hit songs from the ’90s, as well as highlights from the drama. It also includes the hit collaboration tracks between singers Seo Inguk and A Pink’s Eunji, “All For You” and “Just The Way We Love.”

As tvN’s hit drama ‘Reply 1997’ will soon be closing its curtains, the drama production and cast members released a special video thanking the fans for their support.

On September 12th, ‘Reply 1997’ production posted on its Twitter, “This is a special video giving thanks to the fans from the cast of ‘Reply 1997.’ Because we spent this summer together, we were happy!”

There is only one episode left until the conclusion of ‘Reply 1997’, and the drama is now gathering explosive interest. ‘Reply 1997’ will conclude with its grand finale on September 18th.

As tvN’s hit drama ‘Reply 1997’ will soon be closing its curtains, all the cast members recently enjoyed their last dinner party together after wrapping up their shoot.

On September 6th, several photos from a dinner party with the ‘Reply 1997’ team were posted on SNS and community bulletins. The party, which took place on the 4th in Seoul, was attended by Seo In Guk, A Pink’s Jung Eunji, Eun JiWon, Seong Dong Il and other casts as well as writer Lee Woo Jung, producer Sin Won Ho.

The stars of the drama could be seen striking poses together, revealing the close relationships they had built over the past several months of working together. Especially a funny photo of Eun JiWon, Seong Dong Il and Eunji stands out and labeled as, “Why are grown ups acting like this? Uncle Dong Il~ you’re son’s going to see this and learn!”

Netizens commented, “It’s almost the end, I’m sad”, “Is it already the end? I am curious about the ending”, “I don’t want it to end” and more.

BtoB’s Sungjae recently took a friendly photo with A Pink’s Eunji and Seo In Guk, hinting his possible appearance on the sitcom, ‘Respond 1997’.

On September 4, BtoB’s official Twitter posted, “Reply melody,” and “WOW”. Two photos were included, showing the three singers posing closely together. Fans speculated that Sungjae will be making a cameo appearance for the drama as he is widely known as doppelganger of Seo In Guk.

In addition, the meaning behind the three finger poses have been revealed as BtoB has just announced that they will be coming back with their next title track, “WOW”.

Rookie group VIXX has shown their support for labelmate Seo In Guk as well as the crew and staff of the sitcom, ‘Reply 1997’.

On September 4th, VIXX’s agency revealed that the boy group prepared snacks for the staffs of tvN’s sitcom ‘Reply 1997’, which Seo In Guk is casting in. VIXX also surprised their sunbae by appearing in the car that he bought them previously.

After receiving the snacks that VIXX prepared, Seo In Guk said, “Thanks to VIXX for their support” and “I wish VIXX and I will both show some great work.”

An official from the production agency also said, “Fans often bring snacks or drinks for the actors, but this is the first time that singers have come to visit in support of the actors.”

After releasing the chart-topper “All For You”, a remake of COOL’s 90s hit song, A Pink’s Eunji and Seo In Guk have just released their latest duet track “Our Love Like This” for ‘Respond 1997’ OST Part 2

“Our Love Like This” was first released in 1999 as the OST track for the movie “Love Wind Love Song”. The song is the part two of the ‘Love Story’ duet project, which will be remaking old love songs that have been played on ‘Reply 1997’.

With various idol group's comeback this week the competition is fierce on music charts, but an OST overtakes them and claims the number 1 spots on various music charts sweeping the #1 rank and get's an all kill and dominates the music charts.

This OST is A Pink's Eunji and Seo In Guk's "All for you" which is an OST for the tvn drama "Respond 1997". The OST is a remake from "Cool" which was popular in the 90's. The rendition of the two was perfect and suited the drama well and also suited the taste of listeners. The song is receiving much spotlight and is going strong on music charts. Now, a lot are hoping for more collaborations from the two in future OST's for the drama.

Earlier today, A Pink’s Eunji and Seo In Guk released their own rendition of COOL’s “All For You” for their drama Respond 1997’s first OST single album. This time, the full music video for the song has been unveiled, featuring the two singers in the recording studio, as well as highlights from the drama.

“All For You” is the part one of the ‘Love Story’ duet project, which will be remaking old love songs that have been played on ‘Reply 1997’. The project was created to thank the fans that have been cheering on the drama.

A Pink’s Eunji and Seo In Guk, who are receiving much love for Sung Siwon and Yoon Yoonje roles on tvN’s drama ‘Respond 1997’, have lent their amazing vocals for the series’ OST.

On August 28th, Eunji and Seo In Guk released their own rendition of COOL’s “All For You” for the drama’s first OST single album. The song is a well-known track from back in the ‘90s that fits perfectly in the drama’s concept.

Popular tvN drama ‘Respond 1997’ starring idol stars like A Pink’s Eunji, INFINITE’s Hoya and more has released a new set of never-before-seen stills. The photos were taken during break time on set, and how the actors are when the cameras aren′t rolling.

In one photo, Eunji is seen wearing glasses, sporting two ponytails and looking like cartoon character Pororo. In another photos, Eunji is feeding fellow actor Lee Si Uhn a carton of banana milk as they whisper to each other and share ramen noodles.


In another photo, Hoya who plays the role of Joon Hee, is holding a stick of ‘ddukbokki’, a popular Korean snack, and a carton of banana milk. He is looking straight at the camera as if he’s in a ddukbokki’ advertisement.

Ballad group Noel member Kang Kyun Sung will be making a cameo appearance on tvN’s new weekly sitcom, ‘Respond 1997’. This followed the special appearances of Kim Taewon, Jung Juri, Jung Myungok, Park Shiyoon and Ryu Dam.

Sharing his thoughts on his first role, Kang Kyun Sung stated, “The acting is a bit awkward and burdensome for me, but I’m very honored and excited to be making a cameo on my favorite show. I will work hard to show my best in the drama.”

Still cut of Seo In Guk and A Pink’s Eunji’s kiss scene for tvN’s new drama ‘Respond 1997’ has been revealed and is melting the hearts of the public.

On July 24th, the producers of ‘Respond 1997’ released a still cut of the drama’s couple. The photo shows a shirtless Seo In Guk planting a kiss on Eunji with his eyes closed.

The producers shared that the kiss scene took 16 takes before the director finally approved the scene. It marks the first time for both stars to film a kiss scene and they couldn’t hide their nervousness.

INFINITE’s Hoya made his counterattack move to fellow ‘Respond 1997’ star, Seo In Guk.

Recently, Seo In Guk attracted netizens’ attention for acting mischievously toward Hoya. During the filming of ‘Respond 1997’, Seo In Guk was seen comfortably resting his legs on Hoya’s shoulders.

On July 17th, Hoya tweeted, “Revenge”, and posted a proof-shot of his sweet revenge. In the photo, the INFINITE member can be seen sitting in the shoulders of Seo In Guk, while holding up a thumbs-up.

On July 16, tvN’s ‘Respond 1997’ revealed a picture of the cast reading the script on a couch while getting ready for the next scene. What draws the most attention is Seo In Guk’s legs, which are resting on Hoya’s shoulders

The two are getting closer to each other through the program and fooling around with each other. According to the staff on site, “From Eun Ji Won (1987) to Jung Eunji (1993), everyone is of the same age and they never stop jittering and chattering as if this was really their school.”

Cable channel tvN’s upcoming sitcom, ‘Respond 1997’ treated the fans with an early glimpse of the series through making-of videos. The clips feature the show’s highlights as well as behind-the-scene footage of the cast members during their filming.

INFINITE member Hoya brings fans back to the ’90s as he poses like an idol star from the old days!

In the photos released online, Hoya can be seen giving different poses, each reminiscent of ’90s idol star. He is wearing a school uniform with his arms stretched apart, acting cool and tough.

The photo were from tvN’s upcoming drama, ‘Respond 1997’ where Hoya will appear as an actor for the first. He will play the role of a mysterious character named Kang Jun Hee, who captures women with his gentle personality and handsome appearance. He is also the best dancer in Busan.

A Pink’s fan club bought meals for Eunji and her fellow actors on the set of the girl group member’s new drama.

The fans visited the set of the tvN show “Respond 1997” on July 4 to support the singer, who is taking on her first acting role. Buffet meals were offered courtesy of the fan club for the entire day.

In the past, the same fans treated the film crew to ginseng chicken soup.

“Thank you so much to the fans who came to the set not just once but twice,” Eunji said. “I was touched by their generosity, and I hope that I can return the favor with my hard work as a singer and an actress.”

Meanwhile, A Pink will return to the stage on July 7 with its next song “Bubibu” during an appearance on MBC’s “Show! Music Core.”
