Particularly homosexuality cannot be accepted easily in Korean dramas, this can be purely put into the unrequited love of Junhee for Yoon Jae. This motivates that many audiences feel sorry for their relationship and even gets support from some of the audiences. This drama gets praised.

Recently, I meet Seo In Guk in a café in Seoul. Concerning Junhee’s unrequited love in the drama, Seo In Guk said, “I am frightened when I first saw the script.”.

“The first thing that I think of is that whether homosexual topic is accepted or not due to the traditional thoughts of Korean.” “But Hoya acts so well so my anxiety disappears immediately.”

“The thing that impressed me most is that Junhee confesses to Yoon Jae. Singer Seo In Guk, who made a name for himself as an actor, has been cast in MBC’s upcoming weekend drama.

Seo In Guk recently landed the role of You Seung Gi, one of three brothers in the MBC drama “Sons.” Co-starring actress Myung Sebin, actor Lee Sung Jae and other veteran actors, the family drama centers around the story of each of the sons who have distinct personalities.

The singer-actor was picked to be in the program to follow in the stead of “God of War,” due to his previous feats in this year’s dramas “Love Rain” and “Respond 1997,” which is still running.

A representative stated, “Seo In Guk decided to take on this new series since it is a well-written drama and it will further develop his acting skills by working with the veteran actors.”

Seo In Guk made his debut as the winner of the singing program ‘Superstar K’ season one in 2009.

INFINITE’s Hoya and A Pink’s Eunji has been casted in the new tvN sitcom “Respond 1997” alongside singers Seo In Gook and Eun Jiwon.

Having good acting reviews from the KBS drama ‘Love Rain’ airing now on Monday and Tuesday, Seo In Gook got selected again as the main role for the sitcom. INFINITE’s Hoya and A Pink’s Eunji will be joining the popular idol group’s members being ‘Acting-dols’ while Eun Jiwon is expected to show real sitcom acting.

“Respond 1997” (Working title) is the first project produced by “Qualifications of a Man” PD Shin Won Ho since he transferred over to CJ E&M from KBS. It is a sitcom drama depicting the entertainment world in the 90’s.

Following the broadcast staff, Seo Ingook and Eun Jiwon, Eunji, Hoya, Seong Dongil, got casted in the cable channel tvN’s sitcom ‘Reply 1997(Working title)’ directed by ‘The Qualities of a Man’s Shin Wonho PD.


tvN’s ‘Reply 1997 (Working title) is a sitcom drama depicting the entertainment world in the 90’s. The production crew and the members of the cast are getting known by finishing to read the script in a peaceful mood.



It’s garnering attention among the broadcast representatives as ‘Reply 1997’ is going to be ‘The Qualities of a Man”s Shin Wonho PD’s first work after transfering from KBS to CJ E&M last year. Shin Wonho PD has experienced directing KBS 2TV’s sitcom ‘Old Miss Diary’ with Kim Seokyoon PD, he came back prepared for this work on the foundation of the know-how he accumulated then.




This sitcom is catching the attention because of the star-studded casting it’s going to have as it’s happening in the 90’s entertainment industry.

Singer Seo In-guk has opened up about his struggle with bulimia that started after he was admonished for his weight by judges at an audition for JYP Entertainment.

“At the initial audition, they said that I should lose some weight,” Seo said in an episode of YTN’s “News and Issue ? Issue and People” that aired on Thursday. “From that point onward, I became obsessed with weight loss. After every meal, I’d vomit so that I could lose weight.”

When he lost enough weight, the 24-year-old singer said he went back to the agency only to be rejected again.

“They said that although I’d lost weight, my singing had worsened. I presume it was because I damaged my vocal cords due to all the vomiting.”

Despite the setback, Seo said he went on to audition for “Superstar K” and his win on the program back in 2010 helped him regain his self-confidence.

Seo is currently starring in the MBC drama “Love Rain” alongside Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk.

Seo In Gook, the winner of ‘Superstar K‘ season 1, took a friendly photo with his industry senior, IU.

Seo uploaded the photo onto his Twitter on March 24th and wrote, “IU sunbae! Thank you for cheering for me~”

The two first met when they performed IU’s ‘Nagging‘ together on KBS’s ‘Music Bank‘ last year, and reunited at a clothing brand photoshoot two months ago.

Netizens commented on how the two looked like siblings in the photo: “They look like brother and sister“, ”Two cuties,” and “IU’s his senior?”

Meanwhile, Seo in Gook, who revealed a sexy fetish concept for his upcoming album, will release his album on March 31st.

Superstar K winner Seo In Gook has made an apology to the nation’s MC Yoo Jae Suk and actor Park Shin Yang via Twitter on the 3rd…

He wrote, “Park Shin Yang, Yoo Jae Suk sunbaenim, I’m sorry. I won’t cause any trouble. Please understand me. Still a secret as of now.”

The sudden apology had netizens wondering and imagining weird scenarios to why he would apologize. However, he finally revealed today the reason for his apology through a video message. He said, “The title track for my new album is called ‘Hey Baby.‘
