“I Miss You”, which has been termed by netizens as the most heartbreaking Korean drama, has been making viewers tear even though Park Yoochun and Yoon Eun Hye have yet to make an appearance. Park Yoochun will be making his first appearance in the fifth episode of “I Miss You”, and appeared briefly in the preview as a charismatic detective on the crime squad. The innocence of a 15-year-old was no longer to be seen, but he instead appears perfectly suited for his nickname “crazy rabbit”, creating suspense and anticipation among the viewers towards upcoming developments in the plot. Park Yoochun, Yoon Eun Hye, and the other adult actors and actresses will be making their appearance in episode 5.

Meanwhile, many fans have also expressed that they are afraid to watch “I Miss You” because the plot is too tragic, and hence the ratings have not been outstanding. It remains a question as to whether the “tragic” storyline will take a turn following Park Yoochun and Yoon Eun Hye’s appearance in episode 5.

On another note, in response to Park Yoochun’s upcoming appearance, netizens have been posting, “Anxious, I can’t wait any longer”, “I’m even more excited after seeing the preview clip” and “Looking forward to Wednesday, just seeing the preview is making me die of anticipation. Speaking of which, the first three to four episodes were too tragic, I can’t eat or sleep well after watching it, and I used up a bunch of tissues. Hopefully the plot will not continue to be as tragic.”

MBC’s upcoming drama ‘I Miss You’ has revealed the official posters starring JYJ’s Park Yoochun and actress Yoon Eun Hye.

In the adult version of poster, Park Yoochun and Yun Eun Hye are shown drowned in sadness. They are looking in different directions like their unfulfilled love.

The child version of poster features Yeo Jin Gu and Kim So Hyun, who play the young version of Park Yoochun and Yoon Eun Hye, portraying their fresh first love in the rain.

‘I Miss You’ is a melodrama and will tell the story of detective Han Jung Woo (played by Park Yoochun) and fashion designer Lee Soo Yeon who live with a broken heart from their first love. The drama starts airing on November 7.

MBC’s upcoming drama ‘I Miss You’ has unveiled another sneak peek teaser video and still cuts starring JYJ’s Park Yoochun and actress Yoon Eun Hye.

The latest trailer gives a glimpse of the characters’ childhoods and transitions over to their adulthood. In one particular scene, Yoon Eun Hye cries on Park Yoochun’s shoulders as she keeps saying, “Sorry,” and Yoochun tells her “Don’t let go of my hand this time,” while pointing a gun at someone.

It’s a bit late to still be casting, isn’t it? Well, better not look a gift horse in the mouth; at least I Miss You, which premieres in one week, finally has a complete cast. I know.

Granted, this last addition is a secondary lead, and yes, the series does start out in childhood so there’s a little breathing room here. But the show was supposed to follow Arang and the Magistrate, and somehow instead of handing the baton directly to the new drama, MBC decided to scrounge up two weeks of filler material. (This week we’ve got a rebroadcast of a Tears of Antarctica special and the movie Wandeuki.) You can say the show isn’t running perilously behind schedule… in that you can say something and not necessarily make it be true. Let’s just say they’re cutting it close.

The new addition is Lee Se-young, a former child actress who is now heading into her first grown-up role. She’ll play younger sister to hero Yoochun and love interest for rival Yoo Seung-ho, and there are several things about this that make me glad. First off, our second lead’s got a love interest! (One other than the heroine he will never have but angst over, I mean. Because that’s something I just expect as a given in every drama.) Secondly, the conflict in having your sister fall for your nemesis is rich with opportunity, especially since we know that Yoo Seung-ho is going to be a pretty hard-nosed villain. (They’ll be half-siblings, with different mothers.)

And thirdly, Lee Se-young is age-appropriate for Yoo Seung-ho (who’s 19), and having two cast members of similar ages can help keep things from getting too squicky. Yoo was adorable with Park Eun-byul in Operation Proposal, and while it was a little absurd thinking of them as adults in their late twenties, at least they were a matched pair.

Lee Se-young is a 1992-er, eight months older than Yoo. She got her start back in 2004 playing the childhood counterpart to Lee Young-ae in Dae Jang-geum. More recently, she played Ji Chang-wook’s little sister in Bachelor’s Vegetable Store and was in weekend sageuk King’s Dream.

I Miss You premieres on November 7.

‘I Miss You’ is a melodrama and will tell the story of detective Han Jung Woo (played by Park Yoochun) and fashion designer Lee Soo Yeon who live with a broken heart from their first love.

Introduction of characters in “I Miss You”

1. Han Jungwoo (Male/29 years old) – Homicide Detective- nicknamed Crazy Rabbit

“Is it Jungwoo? … Jungwoo-yah! Han Jungwoo!”
In order to not forget the voice of yours that had once called for my name, I close my eyes and recollect it everyday.
Whenever it rains, I would follow your habit. Counting the raindrop traces
“I will meet (you) today, I won’t meet (you) today. When I make that turn, you will be there… Or not”
When I madly chase after criminals, would I let you slip by…?
Like the day when you watched my back while I walked further and further away from you, would you resent me further…?
Suyeon-ah, Lee Suyeon… I want to see you badly today. Before I forget the sound of your voice.
Missing a girl like this, it is completely my lone mission.
All the suffering started because of me. That’s why I have no right to cry.
That’s why for today too, (I) just run like (I) have gone crazy.

Homicide detective for 2 years. Also known as crazy rabbit, Han Jungwoo is now 29 years old.
Before the memories of (when I was) 15 year old drifts further away,
Before the sound of Suyeon’s voice gets forgotten, Suyeon must be found.
Therefore, with a happiest and most cheerful manner, living life thick-skinned, is the only source of strength for me to live on.

Suyeon-ah! Just like how I searched for you who ran away barefooted in front of me when we were young.
Definitely, absolutely, I must find you, and let you appear in front of me. “Found you!” Only then, will the game of hide-and-seek end.
Hiding in hope of being found, if no one found (you), and everyone just returned home,
You would cry while squatting alone on the ground.
That night as a 15 year-old when everything ended.

One day, when it became too far to return to our 15 year-old selves, we met again.
The day when painful thoughts of the past become memories, can we fall in love again?

29 years old, Suyeon and I.
The time between us once again elapsed.

 2. Lee Suyeon (Female/29 years old) Fashion Designer

(Her) specialty is to smile while speaking of painful events.
Bright, dignified. But why does that image look painful.
In a phrase, this girl really confuses people.
Dresses casually, very boyish, yet is unexpectedly sensitive.
(She) dislikes it when it rains as it gets gloomy, but she never brings an umbrella, and only wears a cap when she goes out
Even then, she’s not a crazy woman.
However, there is a man who is planning to go crazy for her! Han Jungwoo.

Even if it’s just a name, (my) heart seems like it will stop beating, Jungwoo appeared in front of me.
Han Jungwoo, you lived till today because of me?
To look for me, that scaredy-cat became a detective?
When Jungwoo met me, he asked me to call out his name.
Although the face is different, but after seeing me (he) almost went crazy , because (he is) reminded of
Suyeon who he is looking for.
Suyeon-ie’s last phonecall.
Holding onto the voice of (her) calling out (his) name, (he) lived till today.
These 14 years, I too, have dreamt of Jungwoo searching for me. But I cried when I woke up.

Just temporarily, a guy like Jungwoo appeared in the rain,
Thus I returned to the past memories which I had difficultly erased.
And this is not a dream, (I) met him again in reality.

“Found you!”
29 year-old Han Jungwoo found me again. Just like this.
The 15 year-old that is too far away and the abandoned 29 year-old.

3. Kang Hyung Jun (Male) Personal Finance Advisor
Expressionless. His gaze is cold, his mind is composed too.
However, only one girl is an exception. Only to that girl is he caring.
He doesn’t express it with words. Whatever the girl wants, he knows and will satisfy her.
Thus, the others regard him as cold, but she merely calls him indifferent.
There is no way for failure, everything is correct.
Therefore, all his big clients have absolute trust in him.
To the extent that all the large players in the stock market want him as a son.
However, he uses his most pained wound as a weapon, and is a man who lives while embracing scary cruelty.

4. Kim Eunjoo (Female/30 years old) Webtoon Artist

Although blood, ghosts, and criminals are all scary, as the artist of an unpopular mystery manhwa serial,
compared to the money earned, more money have been spent on soju used to down the troubles of brainstorming for plots.
Always troubled.
Troubled over the end of the world, and troubled over the story of her mystery manhwa serial.
Loves being a busybody and involves herself in this and that, oddly gets herself feeling troubled after knowing about others’ secrets, however, the biggest trouble of all is holding a torch for Jungwoo who is crazily searching for Suyeon.
This fellow’s love, is not a two-way street, but a one-way street. And a national highway at that, extremely dangerous. She is obviously only 8 months older, towards Jungwoo who calls her “noona” yet calls Suyeon, “Suyeon” till he dies, she feels resentful.
In other’s eyes, she’s an adorable woman to the extent it’s flawless even at age 30.

5. Han Ahreum (Female/22 years old), University Student (Business major)
Cold exterior with a soft inside. Gentle, kind, but very stubborn.
Like an old person, although she’s young, she has an exhausted heart.
Believing in Jungwoo oppa whom she admires, his existence is an oasis in her desert-like life.
If not for oppa, (she) would have given up on love. Blood is the nemesis!
Secretly jealous of the girl “Suyeon” whom Jungwoo oppa wants to find till he dies,
even so, there is a greater need to look for a man like Jungwoo oppa to date, and marry.
However, no matter how much she rubs her eyes to look, that kind of man is rare, and is therefore depressed.
