Lee Hyori, Clazziquai‘s Horan, Soy and other female artists will be teaming up to release a special compilation album for Korea’s comfort women who suffered during the Japanese occupation.

The compilation album is titled ‘Please Tell Us-Her Second Story’ and will feature various well-known talented female artists. The album aims to give strength and comfort for the women who continue to struggle to this day with painful memories in the past.

Contributors include mainstream artists such as Lee Hyori, who will soon be releasing a new album, as well as popular talented indie artists. Other artists included Siwa, Big Baby Driver, Soy, Lee Ah Lip, Huckleberry Finn’s Lee So Young, Park Hae Ri, Lotus Project, Lune, Jung Nari and more.

The album will be released in mid-May.

KBS “Music Bank” is back this week full of amazing performances!

The March 8th episode of the show features the much-awaited comeback stage of 2AM and U-Kiss. Girl groups RaNia and D-Unit also returned with new tracks while rookie Ladies’ Code kicked off their debut.

Other performers tonight included Purplay, Iconize, DASONI, The Nuts, NU’EST, Two X, VIXX, SPEED, DMTN, Jang Hee Young, Huh Gak, Clazziquai, B.A.P, Kim Tae Woo, Rainbow, Teen Top and SHINee.

And for the highlight of the show, SHINee claimed a win on this week’s ‘K-Chart’ with their comeback title track, “Dream Girl”!

After pre-releasing the single “Sweetest Name”, electronic pop group Clazziquai Project is officially returning after 3 years and 6 months of break with their new album.

On February 5th, Clazziquai Project released its 5th album ‘Blessed’ along the full music video for title track, “Love Recipe”, which takes the talented trio back to its house music roots.

After pre-releasing the single “Sweetest Name” earlier this week, electronic pop group Clazziquai Project will officially return after 3 years and 6 months of break with their new album.

Clazziquai Project will release its 5th album ‘Blessed’ on February 5th. Prior the album, the group released a music video teaser for upcoming title track “Love Recipe”, which takes Clazziquai back to its house music roots.

After releasing the single “Can’t Go On My Own” back in December, electronic pop group Clazziquai Project will officially return after 3 years and 6 months of break with their new album.

Clazziquai will release its 5th album ‘Blessed’ on February 5th. Prior the album, the group will pre-release the track “Sweetest Name” on January 29. The song takes Clazziquai back to its house music roots and features Horan and Alex’s sweet harmony over a house beat.

Clazziquai will start their promotion with a showcase planned on 1st of February near by Hongik University.

Clazziquai’s Horan will be getting married next March.

A representative from Horan’s agency Fluxus revealed that Horan has decided to wed her boyfriend on March 30 next year. Her wedding will take place on March 30 at a hotel in Seoul’s Gangnam.

Horan’s fiance is a regular office employee and used to date the singer when she was 20 years old. They have kept in touch throughout the years until they started dating seriously since this past June.

In January, Horan will take wedding photos and prepare for her marriage. She is also currently preparing a new album with Clazziquai.

Having stayed out of the spotlight since his DUI incident this past summer, Alex will be making his comeback with his group Clazziquai later this year

Alex had recently departed from Fluxus Entertainment with whom he made his debut in 2004 through the project group Clazziquai. He will now continue with the group under Shinseng Entertainment.

Alex with his other members, Horan and DJ Clazzi from Clazziquai will be breaking its hiatus with a new album targeted for release in November.

Clazziquai’s Alex was booked for driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to Seoul Gangnam Police on July 18th, Alex was booked without detention after they had received a report that Alex was driving drunk on his way home from meeting his friends for drinks in Gangnam.

Alex was fully intoxicated and is said to have recorded 0.134% in blood alcohol content, which is enough to have his license cancelled.

Police sent Alex home after a brief investigation and and revealed they will start the additional investigation within the week.

Clazziquai’s female vocalist Horan was seen on a romantic date with an ex-lover.

Sports Seoul reported that the 32-year-old star was seen strolling the streets of Insa-dong, central Seoul, on Monday with an ex-boyfriend.

According to a source close to the two, the boyfriend is an average salaryman whom Horan dated some 13 years ago.

“The two met back in 1999 when Horan would have been around 20. They dated for about two years before breaking up,” said the source, who added that the couple began dating again a month ago.

The star’s agency confirmed that the two were indeed dating again and that given their age - Horan’s beau is three years her senior - they are more cautious and serious about the relationship than before.

Apparently, Horan’s ex called her out of the blue. They have been dating since.

“He was in his car listening to the song ‘Tom’s Diner’ and remembered that they used to listen to it together, so then he decided to give her a call,” the source said.

Singer Alex of the group Clazziquai has taken “fan service” to a whole new level by performing for a fan at his wedding on May 6.

The 32-year-old had promised a lucky fan who last year proposed to his girlfriend at one of Alex’s solo concerts, that he would sing at their wedding.

“It’s such an honor to be able to sing for the couple who came to my show. I wish them all the best,” said Alex, who traveled to Incheon to fulfill his pledge.

Back in March, Alex sang for another couple who won the opportunity on his official fansite.

On May 5, along with fellow band member Horan, Alex released a new song titled “Maybe, Maybe.”

Clazziquai’s Alex has put his singing career on hold to assuage his need for speed on the racetrack.

On April 2nd, the professional racing school Driving Master Academy announced that Alex has singed up with the Solite Indigo Racing Team for one year and will also compete in the annual Korea Speed Festival in May.

The 32-year-old entertainer will also compete in the Korea Genesis Coupe Championship.

“Alex has always been a motor enthusiast, and when he took part in racing for a program on one cable channel, he decided to pursue his interest,” a representative of the racing school said.

In preparation for the race, Alex will start training on Thursday at the Korea International Circuit in the Yeongnam region.

Alex made his debut with the trio band Clazziquai in 2004. He also appeared in the drama “A Thousand Days’ Promise” and contributed a song to the soundtrack of the hit movie “Only You.”

After boosting up much anticipations through teaser, Clazziquaia's DJ Clazzi finally unveiled the full music video for his first solo single "How We Feel" featuring 2AM's Seulong.

"How We Feel" is an upbeat electronic track which combined with Seulong's smooth vocals giving off a soulful vibe. Fans have been eagerly looking forward for this unique collaboration. DJ Clazzi’s full length solo album will be released in December.

It was reported that 2AM Seulong will be featured in Clazzi's first solo single. Clazzi is the leader/producer of the group Clazziquaia.

Fans are anticipating the collaboration between Seulong and Clazzi for this team up, combining a soulful and electronic vocals.

Meanwhile, the teaser MV of his solo single"How We Feel" released today.

..or at least that’s what she’ll be portraying in the upcoming KBS drama ‘Smile, Donghae’.

JooYeon will be making her acting debut playing the role of Saeyoung, a dancing major at a university, with a knack for getting into trouble. She unexpectedly becomes pregnant with Taehoon’s (played by Alex of Clazziquai) children and gives birth to twins.

At a press conference held on September 30th at the Grand Ambassador Hotel in Seoul, JooYeon was able to reveal her thoughts on the drama and her first acting role:
“I received acting advice from UEE… she participated in both dramas and film, so I rarely got to see her. She told me, ‘It’s hard, but I know unni can do it.’ UEE has also given me a lot of strength through her encouraging words and advice. Even though it’s nerve-wracking to act for the first time, it’s also very fun and enjoyable. It’s good that I can tackle acting while taking a break from my singing activities.”
‘Smile, Donghae’ is about Donghae (played by Ji Chang Wook), who was adopted by a couple overseas after being born to a single mother. The drama will follow Donghae as he finds new love and family, as well as the many struggles he must endure.

Look forward to the dramas premiere on October 4th!
