Along with high school seniors, several idol group members graduated from their respective high schools on February 7th.

Despite the freezing cold temperature, many idol stars attended their high school graduation ceremonies including f(x)’s Krystal, 4minute’s Sohyun, T-ara’s Areum, B.A.P’s Jongup, Dal Shabet’s Subin, SPEED’s Sejun, BTOB’s IlHoon, and C-Clown’s Ray, Juniel, Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, EXO-K’s Sehun and more.

f(x)’s Sulli, miss A’s Suzy, U-KISS‘ Dongho, A Pink’s Na Eun and Yookyung also graduated, but not able to attend their respective school’s graduation ceremony because of conflicting schedules.

FC One, the celebrity soccer club that many stars such as Seo Ji Seok, Uhm Gi Joon, and Lee Jong Seok belong to, has made donations to promote soccer among young people. With Lee Sae Joon as the club’s captain and Seo Ji Seok as vice-captain, FC One was founded in 2012. The club has 30 members, including Ahn Nae Sang, Park Gi Woong, Lee Jong Seok, Uhm Gi Joon, Cho Han Seon, Super Junior’s Yesung, Heo Young Saeng, Big Bang’s Seungri, B2ST’s Lee Gi Kwang, Infinite’s Woo Hyun, ZE:A’s Dong Joon, Jang Woo Hyuk, U Kiss’ Dong Ho, and Kim Jong Moon.

FC One is more than just a club for people who love soccer and want to share their common interest. It also contributes to the development of soccer among young people. The club recently made a donation to a youth soccer team in Guri.

About the recent donation, Seo Ji Seok, the vice-captain of FC One, said, “We get together not only to enjoy soccer but also to contribute in the development of Korean soccer. All the members of FC One feel honored to do what we love and help others with what we have. We will try harder in every way to be helpful in the further development of soccer in Korea.”

Dongho, who plays the role of "Johan" in "Don't Cry Mommy", will be unable to participate in the promotional period for his first leading role. Due to his tight schedule, including a concert and fan meeting, in South America, Peru, he had to make the tough call of dropping out of promotional activities for the film.

Dongho received much interest after the film played at the open cinema of the Busan International Film Festival and was expected to promote the film in November.

However because of U-KISS's ever-changing schedule abroad, it seems that it will be difficult for Dongho to proceed in film promotions as planned. U-KISS has planned to visit Peru, Malaysia, Singapore and with Japanese promotions following after, as their new single will be released sometime in December.

A representative of Dongho's agency has stated, "As it is Dongho's very first leading role in a movie, he feels very sorry for not being able to promote alongside his co-stars. He wishes all the best for the film".

The film will be released on November 22.

Director of the film 'Don't Cry Mommy', Kim YongHan has given praise to U-KISS's Dongho's acting skills.

Director Kim YongHan participated in press conference for film 'Don't Cry Mommy' on October 15, at Lotte Cinema. The film tells a story about a mother who seeks revenge on the suspects who killed her high school daughter.

Kim YongHan confessed, "I don't know idols that well". He continued, "I didn't expect to receive such a big response to Dongho's character, a minor sexual predator". In the film, Dongho plays an over-confident high school student, who performs the crime of sexual assault on a female student, Eunha (played by Nam Bora) and does not feel the consequences of his actions.

Director Kim said, "Dongho truly acts very well. If another idol had tried, they wouldn't have been able to as there is a lot of depth in the confidence of the character to make such bold decisions." "Dongho was just 17 (when filming) the difficult decision, so I and the audience remain very thankful towards him. Dongho acts extremely well. The only thing is, it's a shame he couldn't have prepared more due to his busy schedule".

The anticipated film featuring Nam Bora, Yoo Seon, Yoo OhSong, U-KISS's Dongho, the renowned director Im Kwon-Taek's son Kwon Hyunsang will be released in public cinemas next month

Dongho of UKISS has been discharged following his hospitalization from pleurisy.

As previously reported, Dongho experienced pains while en route to a scheduled activity. He was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with pleurisy, an inflammation of the lining of the lungs and chest.

On October 18, U-Kiss’s agency, NH Media announced, “Dongho left hospital on October 15 after getting surgery. He’s much better now.”

Dongho is currently resting in his house after his discharge. A representative stated, “He has not recovered completely yet, so he’s resting at home. We’ll be checking in on his condition and decide when he can start working again.”

U-Kiss member Dongho has been sent to the hospital for pleurisy (inflammation of the lining of the lungs and chest).

On October 12th, the group’s agency, NH Media stated, Dongho experienced pains on his way to work today. He was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with pleurisy. We’re evaluating whether he needs surgery.”

U-Kiss is currently busy with their promotions for 7th album ‘Stop Girl’, which was released last month, and working on their Japanese album. Dongho had also been working on his movie, ‘Don’t Cry Mommy.’

The agency added, Due to all the busy activities, the members except Dongho will follow their original plans. His health is the most important so we’ll be watching his progress after he goes through some treatment.”

U-KISS‘ Dongho is set to make a guest appearance on the upcoming episode of tvN’s ‘Saturday Night Live Korea’.

According to the officials, the U-Kiss member will star opposite host actress Kim Jung Nan in a skit where Dongho will act as himself alongside Kim Jung Nan who will play the role of Dongho’s sasaeng fan.

Having made a strong impression as an actor in Super Action’s drama series ‘Holy Land’, Dongho is expected to bring out what he has in store as an actor on the live show. He is already getting a lot of attention from viewers as he is expected to play a comical character.

‘Saturday Night Live Korea’ episode with Dongho will be aired on October 13th.

U-Kiss member Dongho’s latest movie ‘Don’t Cry Mommy’ has been scheduled to make its premiere in November.

‘Don’t Cry Mommy’ is based on a true story about a mother who makes a cruel revenge to the teenagers who murdered her daughter. It is directed by Kim Yong Han and stars Yoo Sun, Nam Bo Ra, U-Kiss’ Dongho and more.

The movie got an official invitation from the upcoming 17th Busan International Film Festival. It will premiere on October 8th at an outdoor theater that accommodates 4,000 people, and cast members Dongho, Yoo Sun and Nam Bora will be in attendance.

Idol group U-Kiss is gearing up on returning to the spotlight with 7th mini album ‘Stop Girl’. After releasing KiSeop and Eli’s teasers as well as Soohyun and Kevin’s teaser images, the new individual teasers have been unveiled featuring members Dongho and Hoon.

U-Kiss will be releasing their 7th mini album ‘Stop Girl’ on September 20th. The new album will show a new color of the group’s music with a whole different concept. AJ will not be included in this comeback, as he is currently studying abroad at Columbia University.

After making their much-anticipated comeback last month with 6th mini-album “DORA DORA”, the boys of U-Kiss have prepared another special treat for Kiss Mes.

U-Kiss will be releasing a special mini-album titled “The Special to Kiss Me” on June 5th. The special album will contain 4 new tracks and two instrumentals. In addition to the teaser images of Hoon, AJ and Soohyun, U-Kiss revealed new images of Eli and Dongho.

Meanwhile, U-Kiss pre-released their new dance track titled “Te Amo” on June 1st.

U-KISS’ Dongho sheds his youthful image and transforms into a tough, mature man.

Dongho was recently chosen as the cover model for ‘MAXIM’ magazine. An eye-catching photo of the U-Kiss member decorated the June issue’s cover, posing in character of his role for TV movie “Holyland”.

In the cover image, Dongho is giving a fierce gaze with both his hands covered in cuts and bandages. Known for debuting at a young age with the group U-KISS, Dongho was able to prove that he’s definitely growing up as he exuded strong masculity.

U-KISS's Dongho is currently starring in Channel A's (SuperAction) 4-part drama 'Holyland', directed by Park KiHyung, as a cowardly character.
Enews met up with Dongho earlier and he said, "After the first broadcast of 'Holyland', all my friends praised me for my portrayal of a loser. But I'm an idol group member...". He continued with a sorry heart, "After watching the drama, I really like how well the director put the scenes of the other actors together. It only made me feel bad for the other actors because of my lacking acting skills".

He also added, "The role I play in the first two episodes will be completely changed in the last two instalments of the drama. I'm extremely happy that my fellow colleagues have praised me about my acting saying that 'It came out well!' for that part as well". Holyland had its first broadcast on April 28, and garnered a viewer rating of 1.8%. It also topped the search ranks of various internet portal sites.

In addition, Dongho is currently in the midst of promotional activities with U-KISS's new mini-album 'DORADORA.

Idol group U-KISS's Dongho declared himself as a "rating killer".


Dongho set the ratings up to 1.8% for the first episode of the super action cable channel drama "Holyland" on April 28th. While broadcasting, the search term "Holyland" ranked as the most searched topic on major portal sites in Korea.



"Holyland" is drama of the stylish fighting and action-packed genre. It is based on a Japanese manga that was published for 8 years, beginning from 2000. Since then, it has sold over 360,000 copies. Judo, taekwondo, wrestling, and other various martial arts are portrayed in this drama.



Dongho received positive feedback for his important fighting scenes that he naturally carried out. He was praised for the role he portrayed- a wimpy kid who has low self esteem, but eventually goes out at night to find his true self as the tough guy "Kang Yoo."



After the first broadcast, Dongho tweeted, "Did you enjoy watching 'Holyland'? I guess the flaws that I could find about my acting means that I have improved now?"



The second episode of "Holyland" to broadcast next month on the 5th will feature another U-KISS member- Hoon. Viewers can anticipate their head-to-head fighting scene.

U-Kiss members Dongho, Kiseop and Soohyun were very active on twitter last night, fighting over their 'girlfriend'.
It was later found out through their pictures that the 'girlfriend' they were referring to, was a big blue bear which the three of them all took pictures with.

On each of their own twitter pictures with the big blue bear, all of them stated it as their girlfriends.

In dongho's tweet with the bear, he wrote, "hehehe i’m on a date^^ jealous, huh!!! hehe"

In Soohyun's tweet with the bear, he wrote, "everyone…. i found a person who i love… i’m sorry… i’ll release the photo.. please do not despair.." and tweeted a picture of him sitting beside the bear.

In Kiseop's tweet with the bear, he wrote, "wanna eat chocolate? wanna eat candy^^?" with a picture of him feeding the bear, implying that he is asking the bear the questions.

After the pictures, Dongho started the 'fight' by tweeting to Soohyun:
[Trans] ….hyung, now….you’re sitting next to MY girlfriend and…what are….you doing?;;;ㅡㅡ


Soohyun later replied his tweet saying:
[Trans] dongho ya! give [her] up to your hyung!!

Dongho then replied Soohyun:
[Trans] wow…..ㅜㅜㅜ cry cry what am i supposed to do? ㅠㅜㅠ

At this moment, Kiseop joined in their conversation:
[Trans] what the heck is this.. what are you doing to MY girlfriend……

To this, Dongho replied:
[Trans] my girlfriend says that kiseop hyung is not that good keke

And to end this, Soohyun gave up and tweeted:

[Trans] fine i’ll give up… then i’ll just date KISS-MES!! hahahahahahahahaha


So.. in conclusion.. it's a happy ending? Haha.

U-KISS in on alert as member Dongho gets injured prior to their Japanese debut.

The group is going to release their Japanese debut single "Tick Tack" on December 14. However, during a movie shooting, Dongho obtains a minor tailbone fracture on November 21.

U-KISS agency, NH Media stated, "We are doing our best for Dongho to recover quickly without affecting their Japanese schedules."

Right after the filming, Dongho felt a sudden pain in his waist and advised to went to hospital the other day. He already underwent treatment but it'll take time to fully recover. Therefore, he might not be able to perform powerful moves.
