Upcoming K-pop girl band RaNia, whose three members are due to appear in Park Jae-beom's dance pic "Hype Nation," will be touring Asia with U.S. hip-hop group B2K, according to their agency DR Music on Monday.
DR Music said in a press release that RaNia and B2K have agreed to go on a tour together in Asia, which includes stops in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
The two groups are also set to release a record in Korea next month as well as appear in local TV shows and promotional events.
B2K, who will be working as a duo called Fizz and Boog, are also appearing in the film "Hype Nation," as dancers who compete with the character played by Park Jae-beom.
Member Boog is said to have written a song for RaNia, which they will record in Seoul today. The girls are also scheduled to record a song with noted record producer Teddy Riley.
The quintet recently made a name for themselves ahead of their debut when three of its members -- T-ae, Semi and Riko -- were cast in the film "Nation" alongside Park Jae-beom. Fourth member Di is prepping to go into shoot for a film titled "Girl Five" early next month. Fifth member Xia is working as a spokesmodel for a cosmetics brand.
RaNia will be making their official debut as a group in mid-August.
