[News] Lee Seung Gi rocks the stage in front of 10,000 fans



Korean singer and actor Lee Seung-gi rocked the stage at his concert over the weekend, performing in front of thousands of fans. He kicked off the "2010 Lee Seung-gi Hope Concert in Seoul" with song "Love Taught Me to Drink" and heated up the crowd at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul with 20 of his songs including "I'll Cry Out," "White Lie," "Let's Break Up" and "Losing My Mind." 

The concert continued with Lee taking the stage with a brass band, orchestra and Korean rock band Boohwal for trot [old Korean pop songs] songs "Sister" and "Love Twist" and special arrangements of "Heeya," "The More I Love You" and "Because You're My Girl." Korean veteran singer Lee Sun-hee took the stage to sing the theme song from SBS' TV series "My Girlfriend is Gumiho" and Lee was joined by "Gumiho" co-star Shin Min-ah while he was singing the song "I Love You Starting Now." 

Lee, 23, made his debut as a singer after being discovered and trained for two years by Korea's top female vocalist Lee Sun-hee. He released his debut album "The Dream of a Moth" in 2004. He expanded his career into acting with a role in MBC's sitcom "Nonstop 5" in 2005 and became a household name in Korea after starring in "The Infamous Chill Sisters" and rose to fame throughout Asia last year through hit SBS drama "Brilliant Legacy."
