2AM's license album "Saint o'clock ~JAPAN SPECIAL EDITION~" reached 3rd place on the Oricon ranking as soon as it was released in Japan on November 9.
2AM's album showed their true popularity when it came in at 3rd place on the Oricon CD album daily ranking chart following popular Japanese singers KinKi Kids and Sakamoto Maaya.
Not even originally intended for Japan, the album is receiving fresh attention an entire year and one month after it was released in Korea. Unaffected by the fact that none of the songs are sung in Japanese nor are there any new songs, it was surprising to see it sell over 5000 copies in one day.
Therefore, interest is already growing as to how well 2AM's official debut album will sell when it's released.
In other news, 2AM will embark to Japan in January of next year to officially release their Japan debut album and hold an independent tour.
