SBS' much anticipated talent show "KPOP STAR" will finally go on air starting December 4th at 6:40 PM KST.
"KPOP STAR" is a survival audition program, which collaborated with the "Big 3" agencies including pop sentation BoA of SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk and the founder and producer of JYP Entertainment, Park Jin Young.
The three will come together to discover the next Kpop star. They will judge talents from all over the world on various aspects such as singing and dancing.
The winner of the show will receive a large cash prize worth approximately $285,000USD, an international album release deal, and secure a contract with one of the three talent firms.
