YG Entertainment recently announced that they have a girl and boy group waiting for debut next year. On November 14th, the agency confirmed that the top six contestant of Mnet's "Superstar K2", Kim Eunbi became the newest member of their upcoming girl group.
Kim Eunbi was recognized for her superior singing ability and potential on "Superstar K2" and signed a contract with YG Entertainment with fellow contestant Kang Seung Yoon. Despite of her cute and baby-faced image, this ordinary high school student impressed YGE officials through her brief training period.
After YGE's announcement, much speculations circulated regarding the members of the new groups. Some sources within the music industry expect that this new girl group will be comprised of more than 7 members. And with the latest achievements of Big Bang and 2NE1, expectations and anticipations for the upcoming groups are rising high.
