[News] ‘Trend-dol’ Infinite scores first place on Music.jp’s charts before official Japanese debut‏


‘Trend-dol’ Infinite is calling up a great storm as they look toward their official Japanese debut.

Infinite, soon to release their Japanese debut single ‘BEFORE THE DAWN (BTD)’ on the coming 19th, has proved their rapidly rising popularity with the pre-released Japanese version of ‘BTD’ that had been introduced through Japan’s biggest music site ‘music.jp’ scoring first place on Hallyu full version daily chart on the day released.

Having already signed a promotion contract with CCC, a sub-company to Japanese giant record shop franchise Staya Records, in April, Infinite has shown a differentiated method of promotion through unique promoting methods such as the rental system, the first Korean artist to do so in Japan.

Infinite has also shown the the endless abyss of the Japanese ‘Infinite Craze’ with their singles ‘Come Back Again’, ‘She’s Back’, ‘Before The Dawn’, ‘Nothing’s Over’ and finally, ‘BTD’ Japanese version all scoring first place on the day of their release.

Currently, in around 30 major roads in Tokyo, Japan, there are advertising billboards that makes their debut known, as well as giant electronic displays flooded with videos showing the faces of Infinite including music video clips, and the 70,000 pre-made copies of their debut album has all been sold.

In just a year of their debut, having stepped up as the trend-dol of not only Korea, but the whole of Asia, Infinite is driving their popularity level up the wall with unprecedented records being set up even before their official Japanese debut.

Upon hearing this news, netizens have shown explosive amounts of encouragement, such as, “I’m proud”, “Obviously, Asia’s trend-dol”, “Starting now, Infinite will dominate”, and “Infinite is the best”.

Meanwhile, Infinite will release their first Japanese single ‘BEFORE THE DAWN’ on the coming 19th and start delving into the domination of Japan.
