Back on September of last year, American hip hop star Ludacris and YG Entertainment have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and entered the Korean market together. Ludacris promoted his personally designed headphones ‘Soul By Ludacris’ through YG and planned to have music interactions with YG artists.
On March 12th, industry insiders revealed that Ludacris and YG Entertainment have finally got into business as the hip hop star will be collaborating with Big Bang's G-Dragon.
An official revealed, "G-Dragon's collaboration with Ludacris was finished at the end of last year. This work will most likely be in G-Dragon's new solo album that is planned to come out this summer and Ludacris will participate in the album by featuring in one of GD's songs. We hope many look forward to the results, as G-Dragon has worked with world-wide musicians"
Ahead of holding hands with YG, Ludacris has expressed his thoughts about the rising popularity of K-Pop and in particular, praised the influence of YG Entertainment.
