A-PRINCE appears on Japan’s NHK as K-Pop representative

Rookie group A-PRINCE will be representing Korea in a Japanese TV show by NHK.

On October 25th, the five-member group (Sung Won, Min Hyuk, Seung Jun, Si Yoon, Woo Bin), appeared on NHK channel’s ‘Ji Goo Ichiban’ K-POP special as the representative idol group of Korea. It is very rare for an “idol” group that debuted only three months ago to accomplish such an achievement.

According to their agency, the show was completed over two months, and it is said that A-PRINCE members did their best throughout the shootings despite the summer heat. Rock band Megadeth’s legendary guitarist, Marty Friedman, who participated as a MC, also showed much affection to the group and even presented them with one of his own songs as a gift.

A rep from the agency stated, The rookie group A-PRINCE was given a great opportunity to deliver their passion and talent to Japanese people. We will do our best to contribute the spread of K-POP even further, so please show a lot of warm support for A-PRINCE.”
