B1A4, "CONCERT TICKET POWER? EVEN WE WERE SURPRISED"

The group, B1A4, revealed the secrets behind their long-run.

B1A4, who met with The Star at the waiting room of KBS2 ‘Music Bank’ on the 23rd, carefully revealed the secrets behind their popularity, “Prior to our debut, our members promised each other this. Even if we were to become successful, ‘let’s not lose our main focus’. We worked hard and always repeated to ourselves to become a modest group.”

The ticketing for B1A4’s first solo concert, which was opened on October 31st, showed a ticket power of selling out 8000 tickets out of 10000 in 5 minutes. This is a rare record for a rookie group and it shows B1A4’s current status.

To this result, B1A4 shrugged their shoulders and said, “We were surprised too. Because we promoted with a cute boy image in the beginning of our debut, I think it would be definite to think that our fans mainly consisted of people in their 10’s. However, there are many mother fans who quietly watch us from the back.”

The title song, ‘Tried to Walk’, off their third mini album, ‘IN THE WIND’, is a song that their leader, Jinyoung, participated in composing, writing lyrics, and even producing. It’s an ‘emotional pop dance’ song where the members’ emotional vocals are emphasized with the excellent mix of an acoustic and electronic sound as the base.

B1A4, who were confidently reevaluated for their musical skills and are being seen as an artist group rather than a visual group for this album, said, “This is what we dreamed of and it’s our goal.” They showed their strong determination by adding, “Every time we achieve a goal, there’s this strange pleasure we receive and we believe that we have to continuously show more complete albums in the future.”

Meanwhile, B1A4 will be opening their first solo concert after debuting on December 8th and 9th at Seoul SK Olympic Handball Stadium.
