YG Entertainment pushes back debut date of new girl group

YG Entertainment officially confirmed that the debut of their long-awaited new girl group has been pushed back yet again.

Originally slated for a January debut, the upcoming YG group is now expected to come out with their first release after summer this year. The members who have already been confirmed for the new girl group are Kim Ji Soo and Kim Jenny.

Explaining the latest delay, YG Entertainment stated, “Due to the fact that Lee Hi, Kang Seung Yoon, G-Dragon, Taeyang, and 2NE1’s album release dates have now been confirmed, the new girl group’s debut had to be delayed.”

On the other hand, the recruitment for the remaining members and the team name is still being kept a secret.
