For newcomer girl group miss A to get onto No.1 spot on Gaon's singles chart during the week of July 11 to 17, is considered to be a feat, given that there were many new releases and comebacks recently.
According to Gaon on Thursday, the girls' debut single "Bad Girl Good Girl" remained in first place, scoring their second consecutive win.
miss A, composed of Chinese members Fei and Jia, and Koreans Suzy and Min, made their debut in Korea on July 1 with their title track "Bad Girl Good Girl" from the single album "Bad But Good." They will appear in the opening with boy band 2AM for 2PM's first solo concert at the end of July.
"Hurts Like Death" by Korean rapper MC Mong featuring Mellow followed after and climbing up four notches to third place was "queen" by songstress Son Dambi.
Meanwhile, former 2PM leader Jay Park's latest debut single "Count on Me" rose to the top spot of album charts for the third week of July. His albums sales recently was in the spotlight ''to be sold out within 3 days''.
Recently released special album "The Cycle 2005-2009" by Shin Hye-sung entered the chart at No. 2 and Brown Eyed Soul's new single "Can't Stop Lovin' You" bowed into the chart at third place.
