In the CF, a woman who is dressed comically hits Hangeng on the back of his head and tells him in Korean, "Hey, get a grip! If you don't want to do this, get lost!" Hangeng then logs onto the game, defeats a character that looks just like her, comes back into reality and puts on an incredible performance. The CF ends with the "Korean" woman watching Hangeng's stage in shock amidst cheering fans.
Netizens have been criticizing his company for placing Hangeng in such an ad as well as berating Hangeng for appearing in it. However, some fans have commented, supporting Hangeng by saying, "it's understandable, he has fees to pay to SM. I want him to do as much as he can" and "no matter what, ELFs and him have spent too long together. Something like this isn't going to stop us from supporting him."
What do you think? Do you think he's sending a message back to his old company?
