1500 fans went into frenzy at MBLAQ’s first fan-meeting after debut.
MBLAQ held their first fan-meeting at the Dom Art Hall in the Children’s Grand Park, Seoul, on the 9th, at 4pm. This fan-meeting is to commemorate MBLAQ’s comeback and for MBLAQ to express their gratitude to their fans who waited for them.
The seats were all filled up by at least 1500 fans and MBLAQ’s family members, showing their strong popularity despite their temporal absence.
The fan-meeting lasted for about 2 hours and 30 minutes, hosted by Park Kyung Rim. Activities such as singing and dancing, games with fans, questions and answers, were conducted.
The members started off by introducing their new album and sharing how they have been recently.
The members showed their confidence in their new album; “An advantage is that you’re able to listen to a diverse genres of music. As suggested by the album’s name, you’re able to see all of MBLAQ’s style that is unique to MBLAQ.”
It was also added that “This is the product of the participation of and discussions held by all the members and staff, so you can forward to it.”
The performances for MBLAQ’s first full-length album, ‘BLAQ Style’ title songs, ‘Cry ’ and ‘Stay’ was also specially revealed for the first time. An intense charisma can be felt through the powerful beats and performance at the new songs’ performance. Although they had an eight-month break from the stage, it can be seen from the expressions of the members that they were composed.
MBLAQ interacted with fans through ‘5-syllable-talk’ and the couple games made fans’ hearts fluttered. The members also made their own wishes for 2011 at the cake-cutting ceremony. Together, they wished “to be Number 1 at music programmes in 2011.”
Through the individual performances, the members showed their charms which they did not have the opportunity to show in programmes. Seungho gave an advanced dance performance, G.O’s performance showed his outstanding singing abilities, Lee Joon performed his major - contemporary dance, and Mir and Thunder wore Teletubbies suits and sang their senior, Rain’s song “Instead of saying goodbye”.
MBLAQ’s first full-length album will be released online and offline on the 10th at the same time.
