BEAST releases their debut album on schedule, but cancels all performance schedules

[OSEN= Lee Hyerin Reporter] BEAST, with their upcoming activities in Japan, had decided that they will continue with the sales of their debut album on the 16th however all performances in Japan has been cancelled.
BEAST’s first album that was revealed on the 16th had been on the preorder status since the 11th and they had decided continue the sales progress, however, all the first promotion schedules they had planned for this weekend had been cancelled. Universal Japan had posted this message on their homepage on the night of the 14th.
One acquaintance to BEAST told OSEN through a phone call, “BEAST had planned to show off their first stage at Universal Japan Studio with their debut song which is the Japanese version of ‘Shock’, but all the plans had been cancelled.”
They also added, “The official Japanese album will be released to the public a few days earlier because BEAST had already been raised in anticipation to the public since the 11th, so the dates of the release of the albums will not be messed with. But right now, the most important thing in the recovery from the earthquake, so all the performances are on a cancelled status.”
Before the release of this album, BEAST revealed ‘Shock’ on the 8th and even placed first in the mobile site Recochoku’s ringtone charts as the first Korean singers. The DVD ‘Genesis of BEAST’ that had been released even earlier also placed 4th on the Oricon weekly chart as well.
