[News] Boy band 2AM’s Manila meet-and-greet, showcase events set
MANILA, Philippines -- Filipino fans are now excited to see boy band 2AM as the popular group visits Manila on April 28 to 30.
MCA Music is bringing one of K-pop’s hottest idol groups to the Philippines for album signing and grand showcase events.The three-day promo tour is in line with the release of 2AM’s first full-length album, “Saint O’Clock.”
All four members of 2AM—Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong and Changmin—will meet fans and promote the album.The meet-and-greet and album signing events will be held on April 28 and April 29. The first meet-and-greet will be held at 6 p.m. on April 28 at Newport Plaza at Resorts World Manila near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in Pasay City.
On April 29, 2AM will do another meet-and-greet at 6PM at the Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. On April 30, 2AM will hold the Grand Showcase at 5PM at the Eastwood Mall Open Park at Eastwood City in Quezon City.
“Known for their soulful ballads, 2AM is also well-identified for having rich vocals and this was showcased splendidly in this album, offering a mix of genres ranging from R&B, dance, hip-hop, ballad, and some instrumental—exuding much variety into their playlist,” according to MCA Music.
The “Saint O’Clock” album features 11 brand new songs including "You Wouldn't Answer My Calls" and "Like Crazy."
Last year, 2AM won numerous awards including the Digital Music Bonsang award at the 25th Golden Disk Awards, T-World Best Song at the 2nd Melon Music Awards and Best Vocal Performance by a Group at the Mnet Asian Music Awards.
This year, 2AM won the Bonsang and R&B Ballad Award at the 20th Seoul Music Awards.
