On November 9 episode of Radio Star, Jessica denies her scandal with 2PM's Taecyeon by saying "We're just friends".
One of the hosts brought up about the issue that has been talk of the town, he said, "I thought you are always meeting him since there are lot of photos where both of you are together."
Jessica answered directly, "We're just friends". When asked if the feeling they have for each other is for love or friendship, she responded, "Of course not. We grew a close friendship relationship."
She continues, "We tried to remain relaxed when the scandal brought up because of the photos. Those that wee from a restaurant. But now, we realized that it's better to reveal our long-time friendship in public. I'm not that kind of person that is sociable, I only have few close friends. I guess that's the reason why I always get caught together with him."
