A strange phenomenon of a shortage of various food items that appeared on the popular drama SBS’s Rooftop Prince occurred.
In the episode two broadcast of Rooftop Prince on Mar. 22, the scene of Park Ha (Han Ji Min) consoling the depressed Crown Prince (Park Yoochun) with soju appeared. Park Ha chose whipped cream as a snack when drinking soju. The scene of spraying whipped cream in the mouth after drinking a glass of soju caught the eyes of the viewers.
Initially feeling a little awkward, the Crown Prince wondered if it was fun spraying the mouth full with whipped cream. He cheered up and gave a big smile instantly after trying it.
Viewers said: “I also want eat whipped cream together with soju. Where can I get the whipped cream?”, “I am curious about the taste~” and “It is out of stock on online shopping mall. I need to look for it in other places.” Competition rose to a degree such that people compete to obtain the whipped cream spray.
The scene in which the Crown Prince saw the high school girls eating ramen and was drooling over it garnered an overwhelming response from viewers who expressed their wish to eat ramen.
Rooftop Prince is the talk of the town for one thing or another. According to the production crew, there will be many more scenes that are worth such attention, thus arousing viewers’ curiosity.
Episode 3, which will be broadcasted on Mar. 28, will be about the Crown Prince who chanced upon the photograph of Yong Taeyong who looked exactly like him and Yong Taeyong’s grandmother feeling tensed while meeting Lee Gak.
