Head of Scholars – Jung Yonghwa
A boy who knows music can get a girl easily.
A boy who sings well can get a girl more easily.
A boy who is cool and handsome can attract girls to approach him first.
A boy who is elegant, cool yet handsome and charming, sings well and even plays guitar should be crowned as the head of Four Talents of Ming Dynasty and thus, he should not worry about getting a beautiful lady.
Yet, he should be worried about that he has no time to know one.
“Time flies. 2 years has passed. I still remember the day CNBLUE debuted, the days we prepared for showcase and the time we spent on recording. Time really flies, yet we still have a long way to go.”
“We are so thankful for the fans that have stayed by our side for these 2 years. Please stay with us till the end. Please give us a lot of support and love. Jonghyun, Jungshin, Minhyuk, let’s be busy till death at the end!”
The key figure of CNBLUE, Jung Yonghwa said so on Twitter.
At the same time, he dropped a hint that they would have a very busy schedule in 2012.
Calling him the key figure. This is all because he is playing the roles of leader, guitarist, rapper and main vocalist which makes him indispensable in the band. On top of these, he has a rich knowledge in music. He started learning to play clarinet in Primary 2. He even knows how to play piano and jazz drum.
He was also casted in TV drama. He is best known for playing the role of Kang Shinwoo in the hit drama “He’s Beautiful” in 2009.
Though CNBLUE has debuted for 2 years only, they accumulated a lot of fans. What’s more? CNBLUE seized four awards at the Golden Disk Awards 2012 which proves that CNBLUE has become one of the influential and skillful bands in Korea.

(Editor’s Notes: Tang Yin, Shen Zhou, Wen Zhengming and Qiu Ying who were painting elites in Ming Dynasty who gained and renowned as “The Four Talents of Ming Dynasty” in the Chinese history. Tang Yin was a Chinese scholar, painter, calligrapher, and poet and was best-known as the supreme talent among the four. However, he lived a sorrowful life whose love was fraught with ruin and unhappiness. The news reporter is associating Yonghwa with Tang Yin for praising Yonghwa’s talents in music. However, personally, I do not like making metaphors with any great scholars – As well-cultivated by Yonghwa, we have to stay humble and modest. Every member of CNBLUE has his own talents and has been developing his own style which makes CNBLUE a “special and meaningful” band. I hope every BOICE support CNBLUE with loads of love.)
