[Video] CNBLUE performs on Japan's MTV Unplugged


CNBLUE became the first South Korean artist to ever performed in “MTV Unplugged”.

On February 29, CNBLUE delivered an amazing performance on Japan's “MTV Unplugged”. The members were invited to perform and shoot the episode on January 31.

“MTV Unplugged” , known for its acoustic live performances, started its broadcast in 1989. World-famous stars such as Eric Clapton, Mariah Carey, Oasis have also appeared in this program. The Japanese production of the program began July last year.

As the first ever Korean artist to appear in “MTV Unplugged” stage, CNBLUE has made another history. Approximately 15,000 fans applied for the ticket to watch the recording, that’s 100 times more than the 150 seats prepared by MTV.

CNBLUE heated the stage and performed 12 songs including Japanese hits like “Let’s Go Crazy”, “Try Again, Smile Again” and “Kimio”. In addition, the band also played the acoustic rendition of “In My Head” as well as their latest hit single “Where You Are”.
