[NEWS] Singers Who Doesn’t Sing but Manage to Earn 500 Million?

G-Dragon garnered the top honor for placing first in receiving the highest amount of copyright fees.

Kangta ranked 2nd.

BEAST Yong JunHyung is the 2nd runner up for receiving a huge amount of copyright fees and is the newest rising star among idols.

During a broadcast of BEAST episode, Yong JunHyung admitted that he’s the largest income receiver among the members. Although income from group activities and solo activities will be divided equally, Yong Junhyung’s copyrights fees for composing and penning lyrics are considered as his personal income, causing an unequal distribution among members. Towards this, Yong JunHyung expressed, “The large copyright fees I received made me burdened”, whichleads to even more attention.

Since debut, Yong JunHyung is known as the rapper for BEAST. He participated in the penning of lyrics very since their debut song “Bad Girl”, and followed by, “Shock”, “Soom”, “Fiction” and more. In fact, JunHyung even composed and wrote the lyrics for “Freeze” which was included in their first full-length album. Not to mention, he collaborated with S. Tiger to produce Jang WooHyuk’s “Time is Over”. And even Hyuna’s “A Bitter Day” and 4minute’s “Huh” had his footprints all over them. Currently, there are 29  of Yong JunHyung’s songs that were registered under the Korean Music Copyright Association (name may differ)
