Beast made their comeback.

With their recently released 3rd mini album , members shares their difficulty in their preparation process. They regret for not leaving behind a strong distinct impression in their previous activities. Although they were given the title “animal~idols” from their [activities], Beast still felt 2% short and wanted to fulfill their mission with their “Breath”. This time around they resolved to show nothing less with their title song “Breath”. With their intense electronic beats and intricate repetitious melody, [we] were able to meet up with the ever changing ‘chameleon’ Beast members.

#Done with the preparation process.

Debuted last October, Beast. What has lead to member’s road to notoriety. Much attention was initially drawn to this group due members , Yoon Doojoon and Jang Hyunseung , who were both dropped, respectively, from auditioning for [boy] groups, and Lee Kikwang, who’d previously debuted as a solo artist. All of their songs have successfully done well on charts. And recently, Yoon Doojoon and Lee Kikwang have successfully landed on various entertainment shows. However, as per members, they weren’t satisfied.

“It appears we’re being recognized by a lot of people. Fans have definitely grown. However, we feel that there’s still something amiss. Feel like we’re short of 2%. This time around we’re going to try hard to fill up that 2%” (Yoon Doojoon) “We no longer feel estranged when we attend broadcast shows, think our confidence have grown to the extent of our comfort level on stage.” (Yong Junhyung)

In order to fill up that missing 2%, members practiced hard, leaving no room for laziness. One could guess from their gaunt appearances were due to their strenuous practice schedules.

“I’ve finally realized that being #1 is not everything. If we’re not satisfied, do you think fans will be as well? In order to leave nothing amiss on stage, we practice and practice.” (Yang Yoseob)

#Making a mark

’s stage performance is tightly choreographed. The part where Lee Kikwang dances in middle amongst the members, half way through the song , appears to be their main point in their choreography. Title of their album ‘Mastermind’ was for the purpose to captivate and control one’s heart. Notably, being able to do so on their live performances, basing on their powerful stage performances, song and rap. [ In their performance ] as they move together organically, it supposed to evoke a “wheel-like” in motion.

“Beast stage performance needs to be seen with the song played in order to experience the full effect. This time around it was tightly choreographed as well. Always progressing to change. Although choreography wasn’t easy, it’s child’s play compared to ”. (Jang Hyungseung)

Members are also preparing for their 4th album to be released in November. They stated they’re going to be decorating this coming year with Beast. Aside from everything else, they appeared to be anxiously waiting for December 12th to come around. All due the fact that their dream of holding an exclusive concert will soon to be realized at Jamsil Stadium. In the prospect of seeing strong live performances by Beast, fans’ expectations are also steadily increasing as well.

“Having a concert of our own has been a wish for all of the members. Nervous just dreaming about what kind stage performances we’ll be doing. Although I’m anticipating for our individual acts, I’m looking forward more so to our collaboration on stage. (Son Dongwoon)
