[News] 2PM to release Japanese edition of “Hands Up” and 2nd Japanese single

It was announced today on 2PM’s Japanese website that the group’s company has decided to release a Japanese edition of “Hands Up.” The release came at roughly the same time as the album’s release in Korea, so it is likely that this decision has been influenced by the album’s tremendous popularity.

Furthermore, to capitalize on their popularity in Japan that started with their Japanese debut single “Take Off”, 2PM will continue their full-fledged activities in Japan by releasing a second Japanese single. Unfortunately, the details regarding its release date are yet to be revealed.

While fans in Korea can look forward to seeing 2PM promote their new album on upcoming music shows and their new variety show, fans in Japan can look forward to attending the “JYP Nation in Japan 2011” concert August 17-18 which will feature 2PM along with JYP, Wonder Girls, miss A, Lim Jeonghee, JOO, San E, and 2AM. Tickets for that concert will go on sale July 16.
