Everything Korean related has been all the hype in the Philippines lately. Just recently, the first ever Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in the Philippines was officially opened to the delight of not only the Korean community residing in the Philippines, but also the Filipinos who have became interested in Korean Culture. It has been publicly announced that for the celebration of its opening as well as the commemoration of ‘Visit Korea’ year, the Miso Musical as well as the rookie hip hop boy group, Block B will be gracing the event.
As seen in the photo above, the event will be this coming September 01, 2011. For those who are not familiar with Block B, they are a rookie South Korean boy group that was produced by Cho PD. The group is into hip hop music and has debuted with the single, “Freeze”. They have became popular through MTV Show. They match up well against another rookie boy group, B1A4. The group is composed of seven handsome and talented boys. They are ZICO, Park Kyung, Taeil, B-bomb, U-kwon, Jaehyo, and P.O.
Below is Block B’s greetings to their Filipino fans as well as a congratulatory message for the opening of KCC in the Philippines! The second video contains the teaser of their impending visit to the country. The group managed to make their Filipino fans laugh and squeal through their use of Filipino (Tagalog) language.
