[News] IU talks about upcoming Japanese debut


Ahead the released of her successful comeback album "Last Fantasy", IU first revealed her plans on expanding into Japanese music market. She has signed with EMI Music Japan, and will be releasing first album on December 14th.

On her recent interview with Herald Biz, IU revealed her true feeilngs about her Japanese debut. She confessed, "It's true I'm worried about whether it'll be difficult since I'm not strong in my performance. I want not just Korean but also Japanese fans to know my name and my songs and I think of this as a great opportunity."

When asked about her existing fans in Japan, she said, "I want to get closer to them and just sing for them, so I'm trying not to feel burdened."

Meanwhile, IU's first Japanese album will contain six tracks including her previous hits “Good Day” and “Nagging”. The album will also come out with a DVD which contains video clips of IU from her different stages in Korea as a way to promote her in Japan.
