In addition to the music video teaser for the album's title track, "Sherlock" revealed earlier, SHINee finally made their long-awaited comeback with the digital release of their 4th mini album "Sherlock."
As previously announced, SHInee released their comeback album worldwide through Korean music sites like MelOn as well as international distribution sites iTunes on March 19th. The official physical version of "Sherlock" will be released on March 21.
Fourth mini-album "Sherlock" consists a total of seven tracks. Six of the songs are original Korean songs and the seventh track is the Korean version of "Stranger." The title track of the same name is an experimental pop record, utilizing the "hybrid remix technique" to conjoin two different tracks into one. This hybrid mix uses two individual songs "Clue" and "Note".
The album is described to maintain SHINee’s distinctive music color, performance and style, but boasts on showing the group’s elevated status as ‘world class’-level. SHINee also announced to have joined forces with globally renowned choreographer Tony Testa, aiming to leave a better impression for their comeback.
