[News] Block B at center of new controversy due to fans' behaviors
After being swept up in controversy over their behavior during an interview in Thailand, Block B has once again found themselves at the center of another controversy, this time for their unruly fans' behaviors.
On March 17, Block B held a fan-signing event at a bookstore in Suwon, Kyeonggido. Like any other event, teenaged fans flocked to the bookstore to catch a glimpse of their favorite K-pop stars. However, some fans took drastic measures in order to get a glimpse and climbed on top of bookshelves, causing numerous books to fall off of these shelves and tables.
These books were damaged from being stepped on and a table was even reported to have been broken from the weight of the fans. Those at the event commented, "More then a hundred books were damaged," "They acted unruly and disrupted those who were at the bookstore to buy books."
The event was only supposed to host pre-selected fans, but the event drew fans from all over, causing there to be a lack of organization and management.
