FTIsland’s Lee Hongki will be making his movie debut as a main lead.
According to a spokesperson, Lee Hongki has recently been casted in the movie “Band Hospice” (Correction: Directed by Nam Taesu).
“Band Hospice” is a movie that portrays the many colouful stories of the members of a band, starring Lee Hongki. With FTIsland’s high popularity in Japan, there are talks on selling the movie rights to Japan, the moment it was made known about Lee Hongki’s casting.
The movie “Band Hospice” has started its early stages of production since 2010 and has met with difficulties. With the recent casting being made, it is getting ready for a full-scale movie production.
Lee Hongki’s spokesperson explained that “It is true that Lee Hongki has met up with film industry personnel lately and has also come to an agreement. Though chances are high that he will be starring in the movie but before sealing the contract, we can’t assure anything as of now.”
On the other hand, FTIsland will be holding a joint concert with CNBlue on 9th March and LA Nokie Theatre.
